Thanks love this kind of work. I am amazed at how quickly a $500 tool box can be eaten up with rust, poor quality paint, thin metal 16 ga maximum. The list can go on and on. I laugh to my self when I see a piano hinge tack on, guaranteed to be a disaster sometimes less than 2 years. Enough!!! What gauge metal are you using here?

Do you design the whole bed in CAD and then separate the parts to transfer to cut files? Or do you just layout and build everything from 2d cut files?
Design the bed and split into parts, then use it for measurements which change as i build
