Beautiful bike, I would love to ride it Court but would be way too nervous to leave it locked up anywhere other than my living room. Great review, thanks!✌
A very nice electric bike, I was impressed with the precise battery percentage. Love your thorough review, which is very helpful for us to know before purchasing 👍
Thanks Mike! I try to communicate the technical stuff in a way that's approachable. These products have so many details to consider. Your comment means a lot to me, thanks :)
They offer a similar experience, I think the Tero X 6 is about five pounds lighter but actually has a higher battery capacity. To me, Bosch is more reliable than the Brose + Specialized drive system, but that one tends to be very smooth and a bit quieter. I prefer the rack on the ICONIC EVO TR 2 Speed because it has a top platform vs. just panniers. I also appreciate the reflective tires :)
I believe the official nominal rating is 250 watts, and they peak above 600 watts. With high torque rating of 75nm, and the mid-drive positioning, these motors are very effective and satisfying. Since Bosch sells globally, and the legal limit in Europe is 250 watts, that's why they emphasize torque and don't even provide an official peak wattage.
I know you do reviews on a broad range of e-bikes...,and your reviews are top-notch and brand agnostic. I understand that the prices in this market vary widely depending on the quality of the components and the feature set....but Jeepers, over six thousand American Freedom Eagles just seems like an obscene amount of money for any e-bike. I have commented on this before: I wouldn't want to own a bike I be afraid to ride (wear and tear), Park ANYWHERE (Theft Magnet) or let another person ever ride. For me, it's the Seiko vs Rolex dilemma..... both do the same thing but only one "offers" Bragging and Gloating rights.
Admittedly, many of the recent reviews have skewed expensive and fancy because I filmed batches for BULLS, Bianchi, and OHM. Should have more variety later. And yeah, less nervous riding a cheaper ebike daily when locking outside or especially overnight!
You could never actually do better, only complain. This bike is literally the best of all worlds; Bosch speed motor, full suspension, fenders, lights.. everything is really good quality? When these are all in combination, it costs slightly more (because the company has designed a system with no compromise). Could you roll something out cheaper, Don?
@@taylorjames4741 For God's sake Taylor right now brand NEW 2023 Honda Cruiser Motorcycle Rebel 300's are going for 4750 here in New York State. That's BEFORE even talking to the dealer. If you don't feel these E bikes are over priced then you just don't understand engineering.
I realize they can seem expensive. The price is higher with all Bosch ebikes because they make some of the best drive systems with great displays, smartphone apps, shift detecting motors, UL certified batteries etc. and then the frame and bike components here are pretty high end as well. You could probably find a cheaper full suspension ebike with a hub motor for less, but it would ride a lot different and have some other trade offs. I appreciate the many options on the market today, more choices, even if some are expensive.
On the flip side, those types of latches can’t be defeated by a shim attack like many of the spring-loaded latches with beveled edges. I guess it depends on whether you leave the battery in the bike or take it with you whenever you leave it outside.
your reviews continue to be by far the best on YT. thanks for your hard work!

Because of you two, I ended up with EVO 4 and EVO TR 2 Speed . Thank you very much that I made a good choice because of you.

very thorough review, like always, thanks.
Thanks Gary! It has been cool to see multiple high speed full suspension ebikes recently. This one, and the Specialized Turbo Tero X!
Could we get a comparison video between the TR1 Speed and and this bike?
I enjoy your technically. 👍

You can find these 2023 leftover bikes on sale right now for $3,799.00
How does this bike
compare to the Specialized Tero X 6?

Same question I had, thanks!
I love this category - full suspension that can be a city commuter! Can you tell me what they mean when they call it a "2 speed"? It's got 10 gears
finally a nice bike.
How does this compare to Specialized Tero X 5.0? I'm trying to decide which of these two to buy.
can you throttle only?
Hell no ! Way too expensive for basically what you get on $2000 bikes . For that price it should go
40+ mph and have a 100 mile range .
How many watts is the motor

These prices are absurd.

I understand top line componets and all, but I don't see these bikes being worth that kind of money. Maybe someone can explain it to me.

Requiring the key to load the battery is ridiculous! 😭🤬
As usual great review!

6 grand ? lol.. kidding.
