The best rc brand in the world 🌍🇸🇰 Great video. I thought about the new XB8. But I have one that is two years old, so maybe until next year. Keep up your videos guys
Xray makes some of the finest RCs on the market. The only thing I dislike about this kit is the use of pivot balls. Never liked those anywhere, be it on a basher or racer. The moment the upper control arm has the slightest play, the steering gets completely inprecise and you can swap them out. Would rather like to see a C hub design.
Thanks for the comment! C hub vs pivot ball is always the great debate and we do not disagree the pivot ball is a bit more sloppy in the sense of moving parts and trying to keep them from packing up with debris and locking solid. But the best part with Xray is that they at least offer a C Hub conversion kit to match the XT8 truggy platform that still runs the C Hub design. All of the other manufacturers do not give you the option to bounce back and forth between C Hub and pivot ball with the same chassis, which in our opinion is a huge win!!
With the Xray 1/8 buggy they do not include wheels unlike their 1/10 kits. Majority of 1/8 buggy and truggy kits do not include wheels anymore unfortunately. We left this out of the video to stay away from the great debate of yellow vs white wheels and how they are very track and temperature dependent

Thank you for the comment! We have have had amazing success with the Xray not only in 1/8 scale but also with the 1/10 scale cars as well!
