Wow. This sounds MUCH more characteristic of Dittersdorf than the arrangement I grew up with. Thanks. I love this!

Thank you for this version! I have done a comparative study of four different editions, Tischer-Zeitz, Slatford, Trumpf, and Glöckler, at the University. Slatford&Glöckler are the only ones to respect the original text. And Glöckler's editions has some pluses for those willing to play with the Vienese Tuning.
I'm really looking forward for this edition to become the new standard edition for public execution & orchestral auditions.
    Bravo for your contribution!

I am absolutely in agreement with Bozo Paradzik. The original version is always the best.
My brother is a Double Bass player, too, and only played the Romantic version of this concert. This orginal version is more clear than Romantic version.
Many notes in the Original version. I don't like.
Thank you for your this version. Is very nice.
    Congratulations!!!!

You can buy the solo part and piano accompaniment, but I was interested in this orchestration for string orchestra plus horns which Bozo did himself. He is planning to make his orchestration available form his website at some future date.

Thank you for sharing - sounds great! Would you be willing to make your arrangement available to the public? I'd love to perform this version.

Wow!! you play a major third in the same position (for example at 00:46, D with the first finger and F# with the fourth), at 01:00 I have to use the thumb for the D and the third finger for the F#... is it because the positions are small on your bass and the fact that you have a big hand? it doesn't look like a big effort for you hahaha
Good job, it was inspiring for me! :)

Maybe its the distance of your bass! I have relatively small hands but i can play a major third (with low struggle, hehe) in third position! (The bass is a 3/4 with 105cm neck length)

rectification: "Many notes in the Original version" I would to say, that romantic version there are many notes...and I don't like it.
    I sorry with the lapsus...

such snobbery bollox, people can play whatever version they want of the "piece" as long as it is only a version
