Onkar...we are so glad to see you are alive. When the passenger plane went down in Iran they said that there were some people from Sweden on it. You had not posted any videos for some time and we were worried you were on the plane. Happy to see your gorgeous eyes once again.
Can’t believe how easy that was! Loved the style of this Dastaar. I think it looks classy and clean and can go with with any style of clothing. Not too big and not too small.
As a Sikh guy who’s really struggled with his self image, and confidence in my past, I will say, y’all should approach us Sikh dudes if you see something you like. When I was approached by a woman who was into Sikh dudes my confidence went through the roof. And it is so fun sharing the culture with someone who is excited about our culture. Maybe I’m just speaking for myself. But I’ve enjoyed it for sure. And it made me feel super blessed.
@@paxsmile awww thanks 🙈🙈. And congrats! I should also add, most of my fellow Sikh dudes struggle with having confidence to approach women. I had the same problem when I was younger. And because of the super conservative upbringing and culture, some men lack the confidence/know how/flat out don’t feel comfortable talking to women they’re interested in. Which is why I suggest for anyone else who reads this to please feel free to express your interest. Also, this is kinda why I also wanted to come show some love to y’all ladies.
Finally ! Someone who shows it from the beginning. Thanks man. Iv always wondered how they tie there hair up. And if you ask them they just get mad lol Thanks for sharing
When I was younger I had a Jura then I cut my hair until I was 15 but now I’ve been growing it out for 4 months and love your videos so much as they helped me progress as a Sikh and be able to tie a neat stylish Pagg with respect 🫡 . Keep up the work love the videos 🫡🫡🙏🏻
Nice one dude. I've never worn a pug, but over lockdown, my hair has got really long. I was thinking about wearing one when I get married, my fiancee is English but very respectful of our religion, she'll love it if I turned up in a turban on the day. Thank you so much for the instructions, it seemed almost impossible in my head, even after growing up watching my family elders wearing pugs. Let me know how to buy a t-shirt. I'll wear it proud and spread the word. Thanks bro.
Awesome really awesome. It looks so easy. I’m learning to tie turban for my 4 years old son. Hope I will be able to do as gorgeous as yours. Thank you so much.
After many years of curiosity. I have been hesitant to ask for concern my questions would not be seen as simple and honest I thank you for this information.
Thanks for the video in english. I like wearing a pagdi, but not being a sardar I don't know punjabi. So find other video difficult to understand. This made things way easier.
Thank you! I enjoy watching all of your videos! Your turban compliments as well as enhances your appearance!! Question, do colours have meaning, or prints? .... or is it personal preference?
Very nice. I think it would be helpful if u mentioned the length (size) of the parna and the dastar. That would be very helpful in getting the perfect size. 👍🏼🙏🏼
By far the best video, tied it properly in my first attempt. But have problems with last ladd & covering from the top & back side. Is it because my turban is cut according to indian style 5 larr. Should i reduce the width?
I had two minutes left in this amazing video before I realized that "lyre" was aka "layer". Also, I'm bald... why am I watching this? As Sis Tabitha says, "Cause that's my business". LOL
Hey onkar, the last larr is very thick on mine and doesn’t tuck into the back. Any help? Also, my last larr which you tie, the last one you bring across the face is too big
Bhajji Sat Shri Akaal.... Thanks for your video.. I was struggling to tie the turban before your video... However after watching your video I feel I have improved a lot and it's getting better day by day... Thank You once again.. I would like to share my photo with turban with You.. Plz let me know how to do that... Looking forward 😌 🙏
Thanks for an awesome video Onkar... i would love to try it... any tips on for persons like myself who wear glasses. Because yhe glasses will need go behind my ears while wearing it.
I’ve been learning a lot about the Sikh faith an such this was super awesome! Do you find it hard to move your eyebrows with it like that? Sorry if that’s a insensitive question.
Nope actually. Turban can be tied in infinite ways . So depends upon the style. I have just started adorning turban and I never felt difficulty to move eyebrows or facial muscles, etc. Actually it is just like a soft cloth maybe like bandana. It actually becomes a part of ur body
More like wrapping your head. Comparing it to my 8+8 meter Dumala Sahib and 6.5 meter Patiala Shahi Pagg. The problem I had with this style is neither that firm nor 'majestic' looking while I am used to many different styles for different purposes. Still looks good :D
Sat sri akaal , Im hoping to receive amrit soon and I like the way you tie your dastar. I was wondering what kind of fabric you use . It seems very lightweight despite being ironed. Thank you 😊🙏
Hello, I've recently journeyed into Sikhism I found a Dastar but can't seem to find a keski, I bought a 30' base voil and I hope it works I suppose I can always such the Tibetan store for fabric
Is ur keski really 120cm? My last lar is too short. Like it ends in the middle so half a lar basically. Ik everyone has different head sizes but mine isn't that different from yours I think, and even if it was, it still feels too short, so that's why I was wondering if yours is bigger than 120 cm? That being said, thanks for the Tutorial! Though I don't really see a difference from your 2023 version lol
Onkar ji, I am practicing how to tie the dastaar and I always refer to your video. Thank you for sharing the knowledge. I am a bit confused on how it should look like from the back of the head?
