The Mysterines - The Last Dance

The Mysterines at St John the Evangelist Church in Kingston upon Thames on 17 June 2024. This was a new venue for me and it looked amazing inside. The Mysterines were playing a stripped back session to promote their latest album 'Afraid of Tomorrows' which was produced by John Congleton and released yesterday by Fiction Records. This song is the opening track on the album. The band, who are from Liverpool, are Lia Metcalfe on lead vocals, Callum Thompson on lead guitar, George Favager on bass guitar and Paul Crilly, who normally plays drums, on acoustic guitar. Thanks to Kingston's independent record shop Banquet Records for putting on this event. Although the staff must have been really busy as they also had to deal with two show by Meghan Trainor at a local club, Pryzm.
