This episode broke my heart. You can clearly see that the mom is making a huge effort to have her daughter's XV and please her. Her parents are so sweet and humble. You can tell that the XV was a huge expense and overwhelming for the mom. Like every parent, they want to give their kids as much as they can, and whatever they lacked as a child. But unfortunately, these kids just take it for granted and parents don't teach them the value of things ... I feel this episode was sad. Given the outcome, how her friends did not care, the disorganization at the party, etc. it would have been best for them to just have the mass and a small venue/family gathering, even if it was in a backyard of someone's home, with music and dancing. This was supposed to be a happy time for everyone and not as stressful as it turned out.
