- In this particular video.... we arrive at our new camp site at Brick House Campground located in the Sumter National Forest... where we'll camp for the next two nights. Brick House Campground is located on SC Route 66, 3.5 miles east of I-26, situated in the heart of the Enoree Ranger District in Newberry County. The campground is surrounded by a mixed pine-hardwood forest with an elevation of approximately 550 feet. Long hot summers and mild winters are the norm for the Enoree Ranger District. Winter temperatures range from low 40's to upper 60's degrees and summer temperatures range from high 80's to high 90's. Wild azaleas are clumped by the old homesites and wildflowers and dogwoods dot the landscape. This site offers a great opportunity for all season camping. Ample hunting opportunities for wild turkey and whitetail deer are available in the surrounding general forest. The campground is located 51 miles north of Columbia and is 41 miles south of Spartanburg.
Brick House offers a year-round primitive, single loop campground with 21 campsites. The small campground offers a primitive laid back setting that one can relax and enjoy in. During big game deer and turkey season nine campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are paid for at the campground kiosk using the scan and pay system and a smart phone. Twelve campsites are available by reservation only year round.

My name is Ausia and my dog's name is Moo-moo... my rig is the Lucky Panda, a 28ft 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun towing a 2008 Chevy Colorado or sometimes a trailer and 2014 Can-Am Maverick 4 wheeler. I live full-time in a motorhome off the grid with 700ah of Battle Born lithium batteries and 950 watts of solar. My channel is about living and traveling in my RV to different locations across the U.S. with various friends that I call my tribe, where we camp, hike, bike, paddle board, 4 wheel, go to events and venues, eat at different restaurants and explore new places. Certain times of the year I'm at my homestead in Williams the high desert of Northern Arizona where we are working on projects, homesteading, gardening and try to practice permaculture and being off grid & self-reliant. Just wanting to be honest & open I am transgender and part of the LGBT community. I welcome anybody with an open mind and heart.

That’s a nice campground, I like all of the pines. I couldn’t see anything creepy about the brick house, it was a beautiful old house. I have occasionally seen creepy people. I’ve never seen any creepy things and I have seen a lot of things. Westward bound!
Definitely 👍 yes it was a pretty old building, but I do get a creepy vib, mainly because it's somewhere I wouldn't want to be at night.
I like the fact that you all travel together in a small convoy, and share meals together. And you go on walks with Jeff. It’s nice to hear Jeff adding to your videos. It’s not safe always to be alone. I love the trail you take us along on. I enjoy your videos. 🥰

Hi Ausia! If you come back t west via Arkansas there is a COE park in Conway, AR called Toad Suck Ferry Campground. It is great. It's directly on the AR River, had standard electric and potable water at the site and a dump station in the park. The fees are $26 a night if you don't have the America The Beautiful pass. I'm currently here and my rig is less than 50 ft from the river and dam. This is a great place and very quiet with trails for hiking.

Really like that area, so pretty. Yes, that reservation fee is a bit rippy. Hwy 11 which is close to there is beautiful. There's places to pull off and see huge boulders in streams, some waterfalls, campgrounds, trails. The palmetto goes from sea to mountains, nice long trail. Those dinners looked tasty. 🙂👍

Ausia, I was thinking about your rice bowls. Instead of Thousand Island dressing, try Yum Yum Sauce. It comes in original and spicy. Same color as Thousand Island. It's a Philipino or Asian sauce, I think. It will be good. Thanks for sharing.

Camped there several times where the diesel pusher was...site 4. Another place nearby with water at every other site is woods ferry recreational area, on the broad river,.both are good places. The palmetto trail starts above charleston at a federal campground...is actually a circular brick structure which circles a palmetto tree....the campground ,,,grrrr slips my mind at the moment....but it's near bulls bay/McClellanville
