@@MotorSwapDan although it looks dry down there the bearings are greased and may not ride that far down it should be fine pack it with grease call it good 😁👍

So what I did with a outside inner boot minor leak was use self adhering silicone tape and it’s holding up great! That stuff is awesome!
What kind of shrink wrap sleeve would you use? Never heard of that

Gotta grease from both sides. Remove the boot and pack it! Pack the backside and good to go!
What grease is good for CV joints?

I'm pretty sure CV grease is NGLI 0 or NGLI 00 (Ithink single 0, 00 is too liquid). It's thinner than #2 wheel bearing grease.
