Something I have discovered with my regular group, different antennas like different people. Some like my fan vertical, some like my horizontal OCF. It takes a while to get a feel for which antenna performs better in for a direction.

No extra spokes in my kit either. I'm new to Ham and this is my first antenna. I did buy the radial kit with it. I'm pleasantly surprised by its performance so far after two weeks.

I am putting up 17-foot 2M 40cm antenna I would like to paint so it is less visual. Can I use rust oleum paint? WQ9V

Dave why isn’t more allocations made for amateur radio between 90 meter band and 150 meter band 🤷‍♂️

How didyou attach the radials to the base? Can you supply a picture?

It was posted previously, but I think it had an incorrect title with the wrong manufacturer name. Anyway, I'm watching it again because it's really interesting. 73, Mike.

It looks like the HV-4E is about 5dB down, gain-wise, compared with your reference antenna.

Borrow the XYL's iron and remove all those wrinkles & creases from the instruction booklet, it'll be easier to read!
