PACKED THE EBIKE AND HEADED TO KIELDER, UNSURE ABOUT CAMPING HERE BUT I WENT FOR IT. GOOD ETHICS OF LEAVE NO TRACE APPLIED. A NICE QUIET PLACE WITH GREAT VIEWS AND SURROUNDINGS, MY CAMERA SOMEHOW WENT INTO HYPERVIEW MODE SO IT GOES A BIT DIFFERENT. @AndyWardle keep doing what you're doing Andy, people like ya because you're down to earth and can relate to you. You aren't just sharing your camping experiences, you're sharing some of your personal life. People like getting to know ya through your vids, some of us will be of a similar age so we can relate more. I'm into mountain biking, so the bike stuff is interesting. Also bikes can be a pain in the arse. I've said this before in the comments, you share more of what you're seeing with us as apposed to some of the other wild campers out there, who just sit in front of the camera and yap.

Kielder ❤️ beautifull area. I Did a hike there in 2015. Camped close to bakethin reservoir. Right beside the bird hideout. Close to the pond I believe it was. I remember the darkness and the silence. Overwhelming. Stunning! ATB mate!
It’s a dark sky area unfortunately not on this camp. But yeah. It’s a great place. Not too busy the past few times I’ve been either. So it’s eerie. 👍

Lovely place but falling apart unfortunately. The chairs are out of bounds I think. All overgrown and dilapidated. Unsure why as they seem ok. 👍

Yeah I think clockwise feels harder. Although on the e-bike doesn’t matter. I’ve done a few laps mainly anti though. Definitely be back soon. Atb 👍

Hi R&D. Yeah it’s a shame about the lack of support they’re showing. Maybe there’s new stuff coming. 🤷♂️ it’s still a great place to flee around. I’ve done the loop a few times on my analog bike 😂 but my knee hurts just now. So these cheat bikes are mint. Hope you’re both well. 👍

Yeah it’s great. Once my ankles better. And my knee. I’ll crank up the old Boardman. People don’t realise you still have to pedal these e-bikes. Otherwise they just die. It still counts as exercise 👍
yes its good fun doing the odd wild camp on the old POV andy i allways go on mine. i have two e,scooters and a e,bikes hey andy thats a loverly spot there mate
I’m loving the e-bike just now. Once I’m healed I’ll get the old bike out. But yeah it was a lovely quiet place. Nobody bothers like. 👍

We went to kielder yesterday and the place has gone downhill. I dont think its being maintained like it used to. The big heed has a hole in it now and theyve shut the mouth up. We walked up to the observatory and then down past the viaduct to the heed. Didn't get as far as the chairs 😅
Yeah I read that the heed was designed to be taken back by the forest 🌳 as in they’re going to let it just decay instead of repairing it. The place is still stunning without all that nonsense 😂

The midges there are well hard. They dived into the citronella candle I was using to try and keep them away. They drank the liquid wax. belched and farted then flew off. Didn't even say excuse me !!!!!!!

I’ve done it a few times on my normal bikes. There’s a few steep bits but if your gearings ok you’ll be fine. Loads of camping spots. I’ll definitely be back. 👍

Yeah I tapped the screen on the camera and hit hyperview. Didn’t realise. It was a bit trippy like 😂 😂 I’ve cured it for the next. Atb mate. 👍
I didn't fancy an e-bike before, but was given one for a birthday present and it's really handy. In town the power boost gets you rapidly up to speed and away from junctions. I also added a large trailer, which helps fetching materials and taking bulky rubbish to the tip (I do a lot of DIY) and the power makes it a doddle.
