  • Blocked drain, horrendous and disgusting. #blockeddrain #sewage #blockedtoilet
This drain unblock was very unpleasant indeed. when I am unblocking drains on the Wirral I often encounter some dirty filthy jobs but this one was up there with the best.
Turns out an interceptor has had a manhole built around it. This is getting clogged up with wipes. I had to basically remove a load of wipes from the trap as they acted like a bung.
Working on these old 100 plus year old drains is something you wont find in Australia and to be fair you wont replicate this repugnant slime laden back yard unless you live in a weather sytem like the uk.
I unblocked the drain and give the place a good clean up, much better than when I arrived and did you notice I dispatched a local nosey parker at the beginning of the video.
hope you enjoy, leave a commdnt, say hello and hit that like cheers

I would be humiliated for someone to come and do maintenance on my home and it in that sad state of affairs! It isn't their job to clean your home. It's their job to unblock your drain, clean up before they get there for goodness sake.

What can you say about that yard, imagine living with that next to the kitchen door, unbelievable.
I salute you tony for your perseverance, many people wouldn't have touched that job, there was hardly anything that wasn't covered in it .
On a lighter note, I'm amazed the landlord locked the back gate, any passing thief would have taken one look and legged it.
    With best wishes from Wales.

Yeah that whole cleanup is a accident waiting to happen. One spray the wrong way and you got a stew of wonderful mess in your eyes ears or mouth and who knows what could come from that. Obviously this situation didn’t happen overnight unless an entire football team had a party last night. So if the tenets want everything sparking clean then put the full hazardous materials suit on with the sealed fresh air system and give them the 10 to 20 times higher bill for it or get the drain flowing and hand them a broom and a bucket and a bill they can afford to pay without having to get a loan to do so. Keep up the great work you truly are doing one of the most difficult and dangerous jobs out there

Look my man let everyone on earth make as many mean comments as they want most of them have never done a hard day's work in their life and the job you do most people wouldn't do it no matter what. Right after I graduate 🎓 high school in the late 70s I had a friend's father that owned a garbage 🗑 disposal service (garbage 🚚 trucks) I had another job but he ask would I help and work on one and mostly drive but sometimes work the back I loved that man so I said yes I has been working since I was 12 most of my friends laughed 😅 at me until they saw how much he was paying me at the time 😮. What was funny I was making twice what most of them were just work part time but they said they still wouldn't do the job I just said sorry your loss, I had things at the time they didn't which means you do what you need to, to put for on the table. Put on the gloves, dug up the junction between pipe and tank and unclogged that stinking awful mess with my hands! After you clear the line throw the camera down there. Inspect the line and probably get more work

Hello! Why don't you put the pressure hose from the empty channel where it leaves that is clogged???

You should be fined for leaving that much trash laying around the manhole, knowing if you have a blockage, every bit of that garbage has to be picked up out of wet sewage!

Is there any reason that you didn’t check the pit in the alleyway for blockage’s and then work your way up to the one in the back yard?

Big thumbs up to you Tony you did a great job, that was disgusting, if i had to get any of you guys out, i would have a clean up of any rubbish lying around you`s should not to move other rubbish your just there for the 💩💩💩💩, saying that we don't use any short of wipes 👍👍

I'm amazed how lazy people can be. It would take all off 10 minutes a week to keep that back yard neat and tidy. No wonder the country is knee deep in litter. Nice job Tony.

Most Aus drain cleaners bag and dump the wet wipe balls as opposed to just pushing them further down . But I guess Job creation is a part of the thinking there in the Uk.

Dude what the fck. That was the nastiest blockage I’ve seen on RUclips! And I’ve watched a lot! It makes me very much dislike people that flush wipes down the toilet. If they were the ones that had to unblock drains like these they will never again flush wipes. But until then they don’t give two shits. Pun intended.

A job like that you want wellingtons on and waterproof trousers. Im surprised you always perservere with rods for so long before jetting.
I do find with compacted waste silt, etc. 3/4 " rods are often better than standard 19mm being stiffer if you are only plunging or probing the outlet. If i cant unblock using the stiff rods within a couple of mins, then it is the jetter.
I think the gully was also blocked.
