We have a new harbour been built, new Mussel plant, 3 kiwifruit packing sheds a very large renovated library (1 week
open ) & all the shops are occupied. :)

Yummy! Kina and taro can't beat it. But here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 the price of Kina has sky rocket from like 25 to 35 a pot 😲 we use to get them on the rocks a decade ago these days you have to have a boat to get em they're all shipped out. We use to live next door a Navy diver he came over one time with a sack load of Kina you can't beat fresh Kina straight from the ocean the oceans sweet gifts.
The way you treat your husband is extremely sad and undermining. He is a very patient person to put up with your treatment of him. He shouldn't have to though.

We went to Whakatane and stayed at Ohope beach for a week. Whilst there we drove to Opotiki, just about 30 minutes away, and sad to say, it's like a ghost town. Many of the shops have closed down. I pray that people will return because it's a pretty little town. Faye, we must be sisters from different misters lol... I am such a kina lover as well

Wow, that’s awesome that you got to drive from Whakatane to Opotiki. Yes, we past Whakatane, to get to Opotiki. We went there during Christmas period way before covid even existed.. and it was full of people from out of town going there for visiting family or just wanting to have a little holiday there (like us)
I hope, things starts picking up for Opotiki and every where else.
