lol,saw a video talking about how paper straws can't be recycled because contaminated materiel, like how pizza boxes absorb oils and such.while plastic straws could be washed/recycled. plastic straws ain't the problem, like with many others issues it's the people that throw the fast food trash out the car window and litter that are the problem.
Edible glue is pretty common, you can buy them for decorating cookies and cakes. Some formulation of Elmer's glue (PVA) is used to create gum. Just make sure the company isn't being cheap and use industrial glue instead.

I had one at Tim Hortons in my iced cappuccino and it became soft and I had to suck like crazy to finish the drink. So I don't imagine in a hot liquid.
I agree that paper straws should be made responsibly, but trees are renewable. This means we could theoretically have infinite straws that won’t hurt the environment. It definitely depends on how the manufacturing companies source their paper though.
The glue is still not microplastic free. Can u be interested if we can offer u paper thats heat sealeable, water proof n microplastic free? No need to use glue.
This is complete nonsense, these straws are not eco friendly due to all the chemicals it takes to make white paper, not to mention the glue / adheisive that holds the paper together...
Just make sure that wax around the paper is healthy for your gut. Or worse than plastic straw

Who drinks hot drinks with a straw?
Is it better to use plastic straws than using paper straws made out from trees?
Unless it is recycled from already available wasted paper and cardboard. Cuts down on material costs too.

So saving the environment, but how much glue am I drinking now?
So basically we are eating glue to save the planet. Idiocracy strikes again.
