The Midea chest freezer at the beginning of the video also has a refrigerator setting. Lots of people use chest refrigerators when they're off grid.
I have a 2nd refrigerator/freezer in my garage - 5' tall. It's a Danby - which is from Canada. The freezer part defrosts automatically. I've had it for approx. 17 years and it's still going strong.
This Kitchen Aid stand mixer is larger, 8 quart and the heavy duty cord.

I have an upright Frigidaire freezer, best choice ever, can't imagine going back to a chest freezer. I'm not sure what they run now but totally worth it.

Friends trust me you do not want a chest freezer we had one for years and had to throw out hundreds of dollars worth of meats because we forgot they were at the bottom and they had expired! Your upright freezer is the way to go
