I d definitely embark(& have in the past for almost 2 years) and what I don't get from Akhanda bhramacharya is it seems like you want to refrain even from sexual thoughts when you are not meditating which is close to impossible living in a city full of women
Good point. Slight misunderstanding though. Not refrain from all sexual thoughts; that is impossible. But the sublimation, and thus using each thought as an opportunity to conduct active transmutation.

It’s actually not impossible. It’s not refraining either, to me it’s more like focusing on what you want to achieve and passionate about so much that lustful thoughts have no place in your mind.
1 thing almost no one talks about, my best and most successful SR streak was when I adopted the idea of eliminating lustful thoughts. Test it for yourself, let’s say you’re on a 1 month long streak and feel great, then have a lustful thought and even tho you don’t release, you’ll feel that energy move down there and stagnate

@@nosaints9083 I am willing and have already done it for one year and ten months and honestly I have to say although I smoothly went through it for close to 2 years the relapse was pretty brutal. The first chance of having sex with a woman I went nuts and although I didn't like her nor physically nor as a person I was wildly getting it all out and then felt embarrassed but restarted it. Your idea of replacing/ saturating your mind with your objectives makes sense. I think there's no harm in not losing track of the fact that at some point you might indulge with a woman realistically and also know that you are up against gazillion pics/ sign posts/ gorgeous woman seeking attention or full on action so that if you happened to relapse you shouldn't feel stupid or guilty. ...🤷

When I relapse is when I want to try this out the most! How do I break the cycle and make progress? How do I know that I will make progress? What do I need to do in order to not fall again? How do I permanently quit this is it by staying in the present moment and not being desperate about not having long streaks?
