Good job on moving and setting up a new work shop. Your house reeks of passion! Also, thanks a lot for sharing your methods and recipes for waxing. I decided to go for the dive: bought 3 new chains, a new cassette (the current one is at more than half life so I might outgrow it with the chains), a slow cooker, good quality wax and some teflon. If all goes well, I should put on a newly waxed chain on my bike tomorow. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing. I think one thing that is often overlooked when setting up a workshop is ensuring that you do so in a suitable location, ideally free from too many distractions. You can imagine the problems that might occur should you be distracted while working on brakes or stem etc. TV, social media, family, neighbourhood animals can all be a distraction. The latter can be easily dealt with however.
Oz love all ur video,s .new work shop looks great. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge. 1 question ,on your home made bearing/ cup puller you have 3 washers what size is the largest 1 and whats it for? .got everything else to make mine.thanks
Thanks for sharing, I watched the whole video, now tell us your story of how you came to this place in your life. I think your story would be interesting. I just started road biking in 2020.
Nice you taking up road biking...great way to stay healthy. You ride with others or solo or both? I got some photos of my early riding days...mite share in a vid one day. 👍
Why is it that only KMC has a digital chain wear indicator tool on the market at the moment ? My gripe is it isn't as accurate as I would like it to be .
One thing that really annoyed me is when an accountant demanded free labour on bicycles his children bought home from a roadside waste collection . The bicycles had parts missing and plenty of rust .
@@stevenleffanueI see. Thanks mate. Would be nice to have some portable air compressor for those of us living in apartments :). Btw, nice video. Looking forward to start collecting decent tools this year instead of buying new bikes.

Step one, get space for a workshop that's bigger than your current apartment.
Great
Translation for non-Australian viewers... Esky = cool box!
Some good tips there and very neat. I could do a video of the complete opposite....
You mean messy? Cos I know a guy like that , utter chaos in his shed but HE knows where everything is 😄
@@stevenleffanue yes very messy.. I know where some tools are, and I swear a lot the other times...

But what if you need air-conditioning?

Mitchell Stone once said , $50,000 for a full commercial workshop fitout .
Can the digital air pump used to remove water from the bike?
Sort of. It doesn't store air under high pressure tho.
