A good review -- and one with which I agree. I'll just throw this out there -- maybe you should rename your RUclips channel, "5 Reason Why ...". I like this "lead" into your reviews of vehicles. It grabs the viewer!
I am looking at this vehicle now as an option but I want to know about maintenance costs and reliability of this vehicle and no one is putting that information out there. For example, how much are services and how often? I would like to hear something about that. I currently own an Audi Allroad and cannot believe the cost of ownership for this vehicle. Maybe this is the plight of luxury brands I do not know. Can someone who own this vehicle respond to this question for me? Thanks
What would have been nice in this video is if you would have gone into depth and talked about all of their "safety features". Isn't Mercedes known to be one of the safest SUV's on the road??? Why not brag about it and point them all out. Not only the air bags but Iam talking about the steel and cross bars that goes into them for protection purposes. Many people that buy a Mercedes buy them because they are considered to be ULTRA SAFE.
I have had 2 ML,s in the past and they have been reliable.I am looking to change the one I am currently driving preferably one I can use for overlanding, which will lead me to consider a different brand altogether.
5 reasons why you shouldn`t buy a GLE 350. - 0-60 , 8 seconds. That`s slower than a Grand Cherokee with an engine older than the hills. - Some of the worst reliabilty ratings of any SUV out there. Certainly the worst Merc right now - Performs like a Highlander for more than twice the price. Totally overpriced car. - Suspension like a Pretzel. This thing handles like a rubber duck. - If you like to spend 65 K on plastic seats, go right ahead. - Be prepared to fix the brakes (including rotors) every 25K miles But hey, there`s good news. Here is why you should buy one: You don`t know the first thing about cars and neither do the folks who think you bought a great SUV. You think Mickey Mouse screens and cartoonish displays are the most important thing in a new car. You don`t care about tons of issues with your car cause you got a Merc. And last but not least, you want to drive a Merc but can`t afford a real one. Kind a like the C-Class buyers who think they drive a baby S-Class. It`s nowhere near an S-Class; it`s a joke with as bad an engine as this ridiculous GLE.
The question should be, can you afford Mercedes and why knock certain cars down or what people drive? Usually people who can't afford much are the ones talking mess!
@@p-dub7422 If you want a German SUV you can get an X5 for about the same money. This one comes with a wonderful inline 6, the B58, and offers a completely different drivng experince (in a good way) and will drive circles around that 4 banger. Or if the badge is not that important, the Genesis GV 80 or the Hyundai Palisade/ Kia Telluride are nice alternatives (all with 6 cylinder engines). Either way, they are all miles better than the weak Merc. And don`t get me started on the reliability ratings. Go look it up. The GLE is one of the worst quality SUVs you can buy.
450 owner from 2020. 75k miles so far. No issues ever with this one. Regular maintenance was rather affordable i range of 1200 $ per year. What;s wrong? Very satisfied with GLE.
Mercedes Benz GLE 350...
The ML has been very reliable.
We have ask our sale man about upgrading from our 2018 glc to this 😀 the kid are older now and the leg room is definitely needed.

75k miles in 3 years. 1-2 services per year (depending on mileage). Not too expensive for regular maintenance. Never had a problem with this one.
I have this exact one and I love it.
Only issue for me is the hp. It feels slow but it is most definitely luxurious
Client of mine had a 350 for 3yrs, spent half its time at the dealership under warranty, was riddled with issues
Interesting - did he say what the issues were?
Hi . I will subscribe & comment. Great job. Great voice & music.b

I still would say it does not offer 65k worth of car. Has it been 10k less than the current price then yeah it would have been perfect
Consider 450. It is truly different character.
Is This Car's engine Two Litre with EQ Boost?
You’re the best thanks again.
How do we change songs when playing from phone connected through the USB, any idea ?
But NO REAL SPARE TIRE
It has
Pretty on the eyes. Not pretty to the wallet though. They aren't reliable and repairs can be expensive.

baron eleve, do you own one? If so what are the service intervals and cost? What part of ownership of this vehicle is costly?

Michael V, what similar SUV do you suggest?
