- Vlogging with the new apple iphone x or iphone 10 what ever you want to call it! the iphone x for vlogging is something i have been looking forward to for a while and i give you a Hands On Review of the iphone x camera and test it out for vlogging. The iphone x camera is pretty epic allowing you to record in 4k at 60fps but for a vlog, the iphone is something you will have in your pocket at all times. It is without doubt one of the best smartphones out on the market but does it make it the best vlogging camera? It definately allows you to record in 4k and has dual cameras! I just ordered one of those small blind spot mirrors to attach to the back of the case to use to frame myself when using the back camera for vlogging
The easiest fix to cutting off your head with the rear facing camera is just get a wide angle lens, and simply hook up a shotgun mic to the iPhone? I mean if you don't do those two things with dslr that end up having the same limitations, especially if it's a dslr without a flip out screen
Nice! One of the things that I found helps out with the cutting off of your head thing with the rear camera is getting a wide angle lens. I picked up the Moment v2 Wide lens and it's worked wonders for making sure things are all in frame that I want.

Starting to vlog on my iPhone X now. But the real problem for me is transferring the video to my Mac for editing in iMovies. Can you please suggest how to do it? Because AirDrop takes hours in it.
Lightning cable. Go to launchpad then search for image transfer. Then you can move it over that way

iMovie is a free editing program. Can use it on your phone too. iPhone X is always on you and easy to vlog with :)

You're recording with the phone in portrait. Turn the phone 90 degrees and film in landscape mode ;)

also, if you're recording 1080p 60fps you should also export it as 60fps so that it will displayed as 60fps here, it is now not...

Actually better in 30fps as 60p can be slowed down by half on a 30fps timeline smoothly if you want some slow mo stef (I’m pretty sure u know that already though). Also it’s a bit more cinematic.
60fps is also really useful for fast moving objects such as cars. You’ll get less motion blur and therefor more sharpness. But honestly neither of these advantages are shown in this video, hence my point.

Actually Apple released this phone with an official name of iPhone X but sine X is the romannumeral for 10 people call it the 10.
