Honestly I am trying to find a way to start reading. What reading pattern works, should I make notes from A to Z which is like another big load of work or should I stick to my textbooks and then make short notes, then for memorizing, what exactly are the things needed to memorize. We are in week 4 of law school so I really want to start preparing for the exam on time. I really don't want to suffer during the exam week so I want to do all the work now
Hi, thanks for your question. I will be sure to make a video on this as someone else has asked that question as well. Please take it easy on yourself mentally as you prepare for exams if you have not already taken them. In the meantime, I suggest, taking down bullet points on important things your lecturer says and bullet points from your reading and studying. You may not need to have well developed notes for some courses as long as you understand the principles being taught and can articulate them on paper in your own words and in a way that makes sense.

I know it's not possible to entirely prepare someone for the experience o 😩 howeverrrrrrrr, I would love to know if there are some tips you have for Law undergraduates that we could start practicing to help ease us into the Law School life because it usually takes a while for some people to get into routine. Thank you.
It’s not a must but it is advisable you try and do so because they typically carry more marks than the optional (unless this has been changed in recent times). Just remember to divide your total time for all the questions and use it wisely so you can touch everything, even though you don’t finish answering one question. I wish you all the very best!

Are highlighters allowed?
If they are, you don’t need them. Just your pens at the exam is fine. Every other thing wastes valuable time.
For the compulsory questions, must you write them first before the optional question?
It’s not a must but it is advisable you try and do so because they typically carry more marks than the optional (unless this has been changed in recent times).
