Spengler wrote in the "decline of the west" that bach's counterpoint music was the coronation of the search for the divine....here we are !! In other words how a geometric sonic construction can express the infinity, the universe.
Thanks, delightful n peaceful to listen this, best elegant instrumental music tune. Sounds of silence, very refreshing and relaxing the mind n heart. A beautiful lovely masterpiece for all!🙏🤔
Words move, music moves Only in time; but that which is only living Can only die. Words, after speech, reach Into the silence. Only by the form, the pattern, Can words or music reach The stillness, as a Chinese jar still Moves perpetually in its stillness. Not the stillness of the violin, while the note lasts, Not that only, but the co-existence, Or say that the end precedes the beginning, And the end and the beginning were always there Before the beginning and after the end, And all is always now. -T. S. Eliot, Burnt Norton (Four Quartets)
I live with people who don't enjoy classical music as a general proposition but they immediately enjoyed this... though they didn't stick around for.very long lol Here we find an outpost, one of the last vestiges of beauty and aesthetic morality of civilization as we've known it. We are all that's left lol
That's me. I don't like classical music. I'm all about pop, rock, punk, reggae, metal, etc. But this Bach String Quartet sounds amazing to my ears. I don't know why.
I just wrote this elsewhere having not seen your comments... Indeed! Being a huge fan of Beethoven I came to the same conclusion and now I remember reading that Beethoven, toward his material end, became enamoured of Bach. And here we hear it! Yet, I would say Beethoven's emotional impetus and sense of drama adds an extra dimension of accessibility for the uninitiated.
@@lorenzovalerio8063 I had a dream of being in Bonn for that fine day ... oh well, regardless of all else we've been blessed to hear his music far more than any generation in history. For all the modern world's fault we have Beethoven on demand ♥️♥️♥️
the only thing school taught me that i actually cared about. i would not have learned this song existed without it. when bach wrote this song, he wrote his name into the notes. so i shall forever call it: Bach's song.

This monumental work of genius deserves to be played by every combination of instruments! Bravos!!!! ❤️👍🏻👌👏🎼🎵🎵🎵🎵
Best quartet version I've heard by far. Love the coda to No. 1
Words move, music moves
Only in time; but that which is only living
Can only die. Words, after speech, reach
Into the silence. Only by the form, the pattern,
Can words or music reach
The stillness, as a Chinese jar still
Moves perpetually in its stillness.
Not the stillness of the violin, while the note lasts,
Not that only, but the co-existence,
Or say that the end precedes the beginning,
And the end and the beginning were always there
Before the beginning and after the end,
And all is always now.
-T. S. Eliot, Burnt Norton (Four Quartets)
It's such a profound work. This quartet do it justice most wonderfully.
Overused vibrato puts a damper on the style, sadly.
Wow! 🤩 This is really amazing, I love baroque music so much. It's just so light and happy sounding! Thank you for this addition!
You like this version too? How could we not. The 2 violins are the players from the famous Quartetto Italiano, joined by 2 pupils on cello and viola.
Музыка База воздух, которым я дышу.
Believe it or not I love my reggae calypso and soca music cos I'm west Indian but I love this as well.

Absolutely magnificent! Thank you for making it possible to us! 💕
I was just hearing Beethoven's last string quartets, and it surprised me how much they have in common which these of Bach!

@@johtfloridaman6227 Completely agree.
P.S. Yesterdsy it was Beethoven's 250th anniversary

I don’t think so. Look up parallel fifths as one example.
This is so stunning.
The older I get, the more I need to hear Bach Telemann ect.
It's because the time has come for the Universe to wake us up. This is the music of the Archangels.
Desempenho perfeito!
Well performed.... Extremely enjoyable 👍❤️🎼....

A Melhor versão que escutei, MUITO incrível, parabéns aos musicistas e ao canal que disponibilizou, obrigado
Beautiful!
Thank you. Wonderful
Yo pienso que, sin quererlo, Bach compuso la primera obra para cuarteto de cuerda en la historia.
Magnificent!!
Sublime!

Beautiful. .. Of course it doesn't reach the musical depths of Rap.
Stop that attitude Rick! It isn't Bach's fault. He just didn't have that kind of talent.
