The very first thing I noticed from the trailer and what immediately attracted me to this film WAS the Aussie accents used and seemingly authentic and character driven elements. The best parts of Talk To Me are how they've taken old genre/sub-genre cliches and presented them in a fresh or unique way. Nothing all that original, which is nearly impossible now days, but they've definitely made a more than competent feature worthy of attention and support especially for young first time feature filmmakers. A "masterpiece" or era defining piece of work is up for critical debate and I personally don't know exactly how great or important this movie is but it seems at least worthy of being included in the cultural discussion. In the week since I've seen it I keep getting a sense that it's probably even better than I've given it credit. Need to see it again and I'm excited to experience certain sequences a second time. Most of the elements in the typical "teen-horror/supernatural horror" which usually frustrate & annoy me were really my favorite parts of Talk To Me, so for me personally that alone is a great accomplishment that I really appreciate. Comic relief, humor, musical montage transitions . . . . usually the most unnecessary and infuriatingly annoying moments of this particular sub-genre, but in Talk To Me were the best executed areas. Nearly flawless balance of black comedy and disturbing set pieces, allowed great pacing and unique tone.
Biggest legends on RUclips of all time these guys could be the best directors in the world. I love them so much they are elite. They already are this movie proof so much. They have so much talent. It's coming off the brim of this movie. These guys are so amazing. I'm so excited for the street fighter movie it's my most anticipated movie this talk to me. Movie was one of my top 10 for sure of all time.
The film is great. I've seen it twice. It's different from RRR but great in its own way. You have to be confident to make a film. They are just really happy that people have accepted their film especially since it is their first.
@@doloresquintana hmm.... You are right they are very young and they have done a good job But i remember seeing rajamouli and his entire cast of RRR interview at beyond fest and they were not jumping around saying what a great film they have made........ These guys lack humility Rajamouli is such a humble man
@@hrishikeshbasumatary4725 I think that they are young and very excited, but they do give credit to their cast and crew for making the film possible. It might not be the same kind of humility, but they are from Australia and come from a different culture.

The annoying girl laughing 💀
These guys are not humble
Very overconfident like they have made an RRR
or they have the same skill set as SS RAJAMOULI

It's very different from RRR. For one thing, it's a horror movie.
