What do you have for transmission set up I’ve got a 95 del sol with a d16z6 it makes 422hp right now and I’d really like to make 500+ but I’m pretty positive the trans can’t handle it.
does ur d16 lifts head? what torque did u use for these arp head studs? my d16z6 lifted head when had 0.5 boost... and now im driving on 1.1-1.2 b of boost, but wanted to go for 1.8-2.0bar which is ur 30psi but im afraid that im gonna blow headgasket, what headgasket did you use? now im on oem honda
I use the SRT4 11mm ARP head studs torqued to 85ft lbs with a JE Pro Seal head gasket I made a video of the time sert process which also requires the head gasket holes to be drilled out bigger and the head bolt holes
oh, you're using 11mm, im on 10 right now, 90nm which is 66ft lbs, but after 1.5k miles its alright but im still afraid, how can i contact you in person? i got problems with misfire on idle :(
No you can’t it’s not a guessing game bro speak with ARP for some educating info I already have a few times more torque doesn’t mean more clamping force on a fastener that is specifically designed for a certain ft lb to achieve a specific stretch or clamping force
Nice 👍🏼 I’m running the stock modified lx harness converted to multi point + OBD1 plugs and all, the ID1050X injectors came with clips that I permanently crimped to the stock OBD1 injector harness it’s tuned on Hondata S300 V3 with boost by gear & E85 flex fuel 91 low boost E85 high boost now make 434whp 340ft lbs of torque @ 35psi
376whp 285ft lbs of torque peaks power at about 6800 to 7500 rpms peaks torque just before 6000 and caries until about 65000 it is a linear power band but it carries over 1000rpms I forgot my gopro yesterday when I went to fix my friend's car and I beat a Ford Raptor Roush edition which has 510ft lbs of torque on the way there on the way back I also beat a 2013 cammaro which runs 12.9 from factory and he jumped first I pulled on him all the way to the top of 3rd right after that a f#ck!n Audi 2 stepped next to me he was next to the car in front of me so I got on his @$$ then he blocks the way hits rolling antilag and takes off I caught up when I hit 3rd then he hits the brakes lol I waved my hand like what happened and this dude has a full roll cage and gives me a thumbs up lol crazy bro I swear every time I drive my MDX or I don't have my gopro everybody wants to race
How much hp did you make? What did the Dyno chart look like i.e peak tq at what rpm, peak power at what rpm? Power sounds very linear, which is good, but also sounds like too much turbo for that motor. Does the head have any port work?
The head is a Z6 stock ports supertech springs and ti retainers skunk 2 guides and Ferrera flat top valves its an Eagle Nippon Vitara build with 11mm SRT4 ARP head studs the turbo size is perfect it's just a low compression build so low end and mid range isn't the greatest but it pulls hard up top and starts spooling just after 3k I also have a D16A6 CSS high compression coming soon aiming for 500+ the low and mid range are going to be way more efficient on that build👌

376whp 285ft lbs of torque tuned to 7500rpms at Powerhouse by Armen on a hot day at 3k plus altitude with a tiny cast manifold which I recently switched to a spa top mount that has 11" runners compared to the 2 to 3" lol of the previous manifold it probably makes more now cause I can feel a big difference

Just got back off the dyno 2 days ago with my vitara and H beam combo d16z6 with a 59300 comp cam I also may upgrade from the log mani but she made 251hp and 203tq at 15psi had to stop there because the emusa boost controller is horrible lol
@@shoretlopo9312 Thanks bro yeah my 91 pump gas tune made 235whp on 9 psi with the CX racing 3076 turbo I don't trust those EMUSA turbo's mine had ridiculous shaft play in less than a month glad I caught it back then it made 180 with that EMUSA junk turbo and the leaking bov so far the CX racing and maxpeedingrods turbo's have worked out for me
I already have a CSS D16A6 with an ACL race oil pump and rods n pistons it's another block I'm building on the side what compression ratio are the pistons ?
