I recently purchased a used autoharp (shout-out Bookman’s in Tucson AZ) and have started to learn how to use it. I undertook the project of editing most of the chords (boy, was that an ordeal!) and now can cover almost any song that I know on other instruments. It’s an interesting instrument and quite different from what I usually play, so I welcome the challenge!
This video features a song from one of my all time favorite bands: Barenaked Ladies! I saw them live in concert many times in the late 90s and early 00s and they always put on an amazing show! This song is a great example of how they seemlessly blended catchy melodies and series/dark subject matter.
