Here’s the full story anyway: Mirabel has always tried to be understanding, tried to accept that her family was meant to shine and she was meant to blend into the background. She tried to be loving and kind and helpful but her family responded to that kindness with cruelty. They refused to see Mirabel as a valued member of the family and in our story instead of forgiving and trying to connect with her family Mirabel reject them. Our Mirabel has allowed her disdain and hatred to grow, and now that darkness blinds her. Her pure heart tarnished by bitterness and her mind set on revenge. If they won’t see her as a valued member of the family then she’ll take away that which they treasure the most. To be loved and valued less than a candle, it’s laughable really. And so it’s about time Mirabel places a mirror in front of her family, showing them exactly what she sees. Pepa, a frightened coward, hiding in her storms and constantly running from the truth. Dolores, like her mother, too afraid of the truth to speak up. Isabela, putting on a performance every day to avoid what facing herself could truly mean, what facing her thorns could mean. And Alma, the Matriarch, sitting so high above them all that she can no longer see her family, can no longer see what truly matters. Every single member of her family saw Mirabel’s suffering, saw Bruno’s suffering and chose to ignore it. And so they are no longer worthy of her love, no longer deserving of all the sacrifices Mirabel has made to make this family work. And so, the thing they love and valued the most will be taken from them. Maybe then they’ll learn what truly matters, that is if they make it out alive.
Bruno is a dang tough guy, in the original he bashed through, well it was a weak wall because of the collapse but still, Bruno busted through a stone wall with just a bucket on his head so I feel he did the same in this time line, I feel like he should have shown up in the background in utter disbelief that his inaction caused this path to happen knowing very well he could have prevented it.
Seriously? He tried to prevent rain at his sister’s wedding the girl in town from killing her fosh, and the men in town from going bald and getting fat respectively and look how that turned out. No one took his warnings to heart and worked to prevent them, all they ever did was blame him for the same misfortune he tried to prevent by warning them of!
@@christianmarshal6117 In regards to the Fish lady, fat guy and bald priests those were inevitable events because, Its a goldfish they don't have long lifespans, the fat guy maybe his wife is the town baker as for the priest baldness would not be avoidable. Everything else was preventable for there was time to prepare. Also sometimes inaction is just as bad as taking action, Bruno is a good guy Im not making him out to be evil but he knew that the lifestyle of the family needed to change but he did nothing to really make it not happen.
