I love the bamboo my husband was on a mission to use some to build a fence for his Japanese garden for a while and he did but then it fell over and it’s been on the ground ever since lol the only thing I will say is I did find a black widow in some of my bamboo that was on the ground and the wasps like to make homes in the ones that I was using for tomato support poles.
