(Up until now, the members still promoting as solo.) So seungyoun did a lot of things like composing songs, doing solo as woodz, and rapping as luizy, he also joined show me the money 5. Then he joined produce x 101, ranked 5th at final ep and debuted in x1 last year. Unfortunately x1 disband early this year (due to rigged vote controversy) so he comeback with his self-composed album as WOODZ. He gone through such a long journey, but i try to keep it short here,,, anyway checkout his latest songs, Love Me Harder, Noid, Accident, they are all good
Where to begin...I just really hope Seungyounie gets the recognition he deserves. Personally, I think there’s no one like him in kpop, he’s special in every way possible. Japanese singers tend to have nasally voice, but I guess she got a good vocal training when she debuted in Korea, now she uses proper breathing technique & knows how to project her voice clearly.

One of Seungyoun’s strength is that he can convey his emotions so well.That’s really make him a better singer. I don’t know the girl but she has a beautiful voice. Both did a great job.Beautiful stage from beautiful and talent people.
He may not be the best technically and he may not have a universally pleasing tone (it’s a hit or miss to some and an acquired taste for others) but he is just so damn good at putting emotions in his singing. He doesn’t limit it to sounding sad or emotional. Seungyoun can make it melancholic, nostalgic, longing, joyful and so many else. That’s why he’ll always be one of my favorite Korean vocalists.
Cheshire Cat he actually good in technique when it comes to singing. One of the panelist who is a senior singer-songwriter said that syoun's musical ability is beyond his years. When he sing on his ig live, its a hit or miss and he can be too high. But, if he sing a cover of a song in a show, like when we were young, the songs that he cover in yhy sketchbook and idol radio, its all great. The thing is, most korean gp like thick and powerful voice, while syoun's voice is thin yet clear. His plus point is the way he can deliver the emotions of the song.
@Shixian I know he has good technique but he’s never included in the list of amazing vocalists with great technique. They’re dominated by SM and guys from BTOB. I guess I should have said there are vocalists with better technique and more likeable tone but it’s the way he infuses different emotions into his singing that, to me, is one of the best.
Seungyoun is so angelic and we all know he can do anything I mean he's so talented. but not gonna lie Juri did a great job too! I never know she has that beautiful voice wow

Hearing this just reminded me how much Seungyoun would have killed any position he chose during the pdx101 position evaluation. His voice would’ve been so perfect for any of the vocal position songs (this video proving it and also his previous ig lives) He ofcourse killed the Rap position. He would’ve also done so well for the X position as he has experience n talent for producing n basically everything lol. Lastly, no one talks about it enough but his dancing is so amazing (mans graduated hs as a practical dance major).

One of Seungyoun’s strength is that he can convey his emotions so well.That’s really make him a better singer.
I don’t know the girl but she has a beautiful voice.
Both did a great job.Beautiful stage from beautiful and talent people.
He may not be the best technically and he may not have a universally pleasing tone (it’s a hit or miss to some and an acquired taste for others) but he is just so damn good at putting emotions in his singing. He doesn’t limit it to sounding sad or emotional. Seungyoun can make it melancholic, nostalgic, longing, joyful and so many else. That’s why he’ll always be one of my favorite Korean vocalists.
Cheshire Cat he actually good in technique when it comes to singing. One of the panelist who is a senior singer-songwriter said that syoun's musical ability is beyond his years. When he sing on his ig live, its a hit or miss and he can be too high. But, if he sing a cover of a song in a show, like when we were young, the songs that he cover in yhy sketchbook and idol radio, its all great. The thing is, most korean gp like thick and powerful voice, while syoun's voice is thin yet clear. His plus point is the way he can deliver the emotions of the song.
@Shixian I know he has good technique but he’s never included in the list of amazing vocalists with great technique. They’re dominated by SM and guys from BTOB. I guess I should have said there are vocalists with better technique and more likeable tone but it’s the way he infuses different emotions into his singing that, to me, is one of the best.

Hearing this just reminded me how much Seungyoun would have killed any position he chose during the pdx101 position evaluation. His voice would’ve been so perfect for any of the vocal position songs (this video proving it and also his previous ig lives) He ofcourse killed the Rap position. He would’ve also done so well for the X position as he has experience n talent for producing n basically everything lol. Lastly, no one talks about it enough but his dancing is so amazing (mans graduated hs as a practical dance major).
