The S1 is perfect for what I like in a bush knife. 5 inch is the sweet spot that I like, and this really thick full tang is very attractive to me. Thanks for the review!!
I have the f1 pro and it is the one knife I use more than any other. I ordered the regular F1 leather sheath and it fits nicely but I have a Patriot leather sheath on order. Someday I might add the S1 to my collection but presently am anxiously awaiting a Survive! GSO 4.7. Great vid as always!
I have the f1 with vg10 I gutted a deer with it last year worked great . Now I like the sheath just risen it under water to clean . That sheath is used cause it's tuff in cold weather won't freeze or crack is it cheap yep .
A very good review, I have looked at this knife, the S1 Pro has interested me for some time. I've been waiting for a few reviews, F1-A1 seame to have dominated the system. I'll try and get to a number of field, game fairs...uk. give one a try and take it from there. take care Stew
Good review. Seems like the longer A1 would’ve made batoning a bit easier... I’m getting one. Just trying to decide if I want the S1 or A1... might get both.
Mille Cuori is the ultimate military knife with out a doubt. S1pro, Br 1.25 are similar in purpose S1 pro will shine when it’s damp or colder even up to or beyond freezing temps as well as not having to concerned about water. Br bravo will shine when processing wood 🪵 and is a flashing looking blade just my opinion.
Great review. I like how you hammered it into the log to hold it firm for various tasks. I note that cold steel equivalent has no protruding tang to hammer? Seems like a silly design blunder.
Just like the Cudeman MT 1 now, which ist the form i suggested to Fallkniven 2 years ago and which they answered with a negative answer. Ooops. Ofcourse it could be coincedence, but i'm happy to see this more able survival knife now
Love the look of these new knives, but was a bit bummed to see a vid where the pommel come loose after hard use. Nothing major but just a bit of annoying jiggle.
I feel you. I'm a righty, but practice handling my things with the southpaw for dexterity. Knives and folders are the worst when they're not designed to be ambidextrous.
In your opinion, this new line of Pro Fallkniven is really excellent as the company says? is a knife which can entrust my life? The choice of steel What is great? Let me know what you think, thanks to Michael.
Checking out the haversack, that by chance the hidden woodsman? Yup ;) Also now I have to buy this knife now, I'm going broke after all these awesome reviews haha.
How do you feel about this knife today, now that you have experimented with so many other knives to date? How does this compare, for you, to knives like LT Wright Genesis or Jessmuk or the William Collins WCSK? What is your preference for a woods knife and your preference for a go bag knife
It's a heavier knife but it comes down to which fits your hand and what you are most comfortable with. Unfortunately I can only show gear and give my personal opinions and what works for me.
Aside from the instruction and survival videos, knife reviews are my favorite content of yours, Ben. And that's me speaking as a flashaholic! Just so you get the gist of my appreciation. Rock on, brother. ADDENDUM: That's one heckuva nice way to make feather curls! Why doesn't anybody do this?! :o
Bark river bravo ofc the S1 pro is a nice knife but the bravo is the better knife at least in cpm3v it is better. If you live near salt water get it in Elmax steel.

+CanadianCuttingEdge Great knife for sure. thanks for watching.

Nice job on those curls, made it look easy
+Craig H thanks.
What a beautiful knife, it looks a lot like the old Carbon V Cold Steel SRK (that I wish I would have never sold).

+better buck beagles michigan awesome.
Beautiful knife and I like the guard. I would think with a convex grind Fallkniven would send it with a strop to maintain the edge geometry.
I like the grippy handle. & steel But I would immediately get a custom sheath made..
Super nice looking blade. They've never really caught my eye, until now. Good video Ben.
I don't undestand why they didn't upgrade the sheath. This is one of the few knives I've never owned. THANKX for reviewing this one

Great review. Thanks! Did you ever try the A1 Pro? I was kind of fence-posting on either the S1 or A1.
Mille Cuori, S1 X , S1 Pro , Or Bark River Bravo 1,25 for the best general use knife out there? Any help please?! Thanks in advance
Mille Cuori is the ultimate military knife with out a doubt. S1pro, Br 1.25 are similar in purpose S1 pro will shine when it’s damp or colder even up to or beyond freezing temps as well as not having to concerned about water.

I went with the A1 pro after this vid. S1 pro seems great as well, but I like 'em big. :) Keep up the awesome vids.
+Justin Case (Mr Case) A1 is awesome as well.
New camera? I like the quality! What vidcam are you using?
Just like the Cudeman MT 1 now, which ist the form i suggested to Fallkniven 2 years ago and which they answered with a negative answer. Ooops. Ofcourse it could be coincedence, but i'm happy to see this more able survival knife now

Pretty cool way to make the curls. Thanks for that.
+baseballman74 thanks.

- Martin
+NorwegianWoods it is really nice. it needs a new sheath though.
Wow, Love that knife looks classy but tough.
you present so well that I bought one, thank you, super ta video
Left-handed here too. Hard to find a sheath for left side carry.
I feel you. I'm a righty, but practice handling my things with the southpaw for dexterity.
Knives and folders are the worst when they're not designed to be ambidextrous.
Excellent video, you convinced me, I want one!
DO IT!
Look like a great knife.
In your opinion, this new line of Pro Fallkniven is really excellent as the company says? is a knife which can entrust my life? The choice of steel What is great? Let me know what you think, thanks to Michael.
+Michele Trekkning it is a really well built knife.

This is a diving watch? Nice video men
What camera are you using? The definition is incredible.
Checking out the haversack, that by chance the hidden woodsman? Yup ;) Also now I have to buy this knife now, I'm going broke after all these awesome reviews haha.

Living Survival .....so today what would be your choice for bushcraft knife and your choice for a bug out knife
what kind of fixed blade knife would you recommend for wet weather? My Esee 6 rusts real easily in wet weather hiking.
Love the look of the cobalt steel. Hey Mate, what bag is that?
+Rhi McKeon hidden woodsmen haversack
what is the difference between vg10 and cos in its main uses becauce i dont realy see a difference . but thats just me ???

Rock on, brother.
ADDENDUM: That's one heckuva nice way to make feather curls! Why doesn't anybody do this?! :o
:)
One would think they would ditch the waterproof box and give a nicer sheath
+Hudson agreed.
This knife is similar to the knife used in scream
Love the flower lol
A great alternative way to make curls. Hammers the knife into a log, and proceeds to struggle making curls. 🤦♂️
i love the intro
+Christopher Davis thanks.
+Living Survival no way a famous you tuber replied to my comment
What's the price
Wow, high end gear lol lucky guy.

Living Survival really!?! What's your reasoning? Thanks!
Bark river bravo ofc the S1 pro is a nice knife but the bravo is the better knife at least in cpm3v it is better. If you live near salt water get it in Elmax steel.
For $280 it should have come sharp enough to shave hair right out-of-the-box. Sucks
**Sucks that you had to sharpen.
+Jeremy Nelson i sharpen 99% of the knives I get.
