I beat him first try as well, the genuine panic I felt when it changed gears twice will stick with me, and in all honesty that is a very fair fight. I think it may be my favorite because it goes from a shuffle, to a debuff set, to a cause of death. Stacking bleed Res, generals trinket or appalling apron can make this fight way easier. Decent counterplay makes this very fun compared to a certain confession before release
Play the fight knowing the gimmick, one wayward 30% crit chance for 60 damage and token copy, unknown suppress directly afterward, then it kills your tank, applies 4 stress and then uses the copied tokens against you to prevent the damage race. Now it’s more fair, it’s harder to get all of the eyes on one person, but if it is that’s all it can do, and can only suppress when it gets crit by 2 people.
damn... i was just now about to beat him first try, got to the last phase easily but got screwed by dbr checks death blowing 3 of my heroes ON THE FIRST CHECK... though i guess that's dd2 afterall but MAN that sucks, especially since i had 2 heroes with healing salves and 3 heroes that could actually heal with abilities, i just needed to resist that extra but the bleed had other plans. guess I'm just venting, grats on the boss tho!
