    Truly lovely Jerry. A sensitive musically interpreted beautiful performance of a piece whose sonority, harmonic and strong but not over stated melodic lines continually rolls in like the inexorable waves of the sea. Loving the balance of Irish and Abbey views with that of you at your console in your home.
    Thank you so much for ‘selling’ this piece to those who hear/watch this.

    A lovely, atmospheric piece, Jerry, and a great arrangement, beautifully played. It was also great to see the footage of Corcomroe and surrounds. Jerry this is a superb recording of a really special piece. I love the way that you have put the film together going between the images of Corcomroe Abbey, the Irish coastline, and your good self at the console. With a lot of feeling and incredibly atmospheric, this version of Highland Cathedral mesmerizes. When the bride marches in, however, many people want the short version of the original at the wedding. The Corcomroe is a beautiful place, Did an organ play within these walls in the olden days? What do you think, Jerry?

    • @jerrymartin79
      @jerrymartin79 2 года назад

      Thank you very much 😊 I really appreciate that!! i can also see why this would be popular at church. You know, you ask a great question about whether or not there was an organ there - it is certainly possible - the abbey would have been active into the 1800s at least I would imagine. It's a lovely thought!

    A stunning performance, Jerry, of this Charles Callahan arrangement of 'Highland Cathedral': bravo! I So very musical. Beautifully registered and shaped. Deeply affecting. Indeed, stunning is no overstatement. I have the Alessandria sample set, but I have not managed to make my audio match the magnificent sounds I just heard in this recording (I need some tips from you as to how to best configure the audio!). Your videography is absolutely glorious and makes for a visual as well as an aural feast. You are so professional as a musician and an upload editor . . . a very hard act to follow!

    Nice. I'd like to have your set-up. I think on this recording however the pedal is drowning out a lot of the melody.
