For another age old rivalry in my opinion I like to play Red-Eyes every now and then but I don't have the deck built in Master Duel. Mostly in Duel Links (As much as the game has it's issues I still play it.) Joey by far is more entertaining to me when he is dueling. Also his development throughout the entire anime is incredible to me.
My favorite deck definitely has to be “blue-eyes” distant relative “galaxy-eyes”, primarily because of the shenanigans and OTKs the deck can dish out given the right circumstances. Rhyme definitely should try it or have Doto or seereax should try it. I think you guys are gonna like it.
Agreed, I built a sub par galaxy eyes deck on master duel like two days ago. And yh it cooks with the right set up. I'm just looking to optimise it with drag + numeron dragon, maybe cyber dragon + galaxy soldier. Just make it more useable
Glad to see you finally put together a blue eyes bystial deck! Was pretty entertaining. I just put together a blue eyes chaos deck which has been fun. Crazy that blue eyes works as a good engine for so many builds.
I love seeing you/Reax and/or Doto play Yu-Gi-Oh.... But everytime I said: *Let me give a try again and see what's new,* is so overwhelming with ever-changing meta and long complicated inner rules and how effects work that keeps me in Lala land XD
thats masterduel 2023 if you dont have 50% generic dumb cards like bystial or interruptions you wont have a chance and that sucks for people like me who plays roids lol
Ancient Gear was the anime deck that made me fall in love with the game. I loved dunking on people with the structure deck in Duel Links. It was the first deck I played when I came to Master Duel, and it served me well for a while until power creep got too much. Fortunately Abyss Actor got new support not long after and that became my new favourite anime deck that can actually compete somewhat. Between Crowler and Sylvio, I’m always more a fan of the comic relief characters. It’s fun to play as the underdogs rather than the cool protags and rivals who always win.
14:40 Mirrorjade effect is an Activated effect, it resolve right then and there but it apply in the End Phase. There's 3 state basically, Activate, Resolution, and Apply. Mirrorjade wipe bypass most Unaffected by Activated effect because at the destruction is an Apply Effect, not a Resolution of an effect.
The Fleur deck is an anime deck, and I love playing it relatively pure. Summoning Baronne with that deck is just so satisfying. Also, the Chevalier and Mina set up for your turn is pretty good as well.
Dark Magician is probably my favorite anime deck to play, simply from watching people who haven't played against it try and get around Dragon Knight and Eternal Soul
I got two anime decks I love. Stardust and Blackwing. Sorry. I just love the 5D's era of Yu-Gi-Oh. Even built my own irl Blackwing deck and it kind of did work. But I would definitely need to tweak it since I've haven't played the game irl in over a decade.
Rhym just mentioned n the beginning of the video where he went to a yugioh event with other contenr creators. Rhym didnt film anything but i follow the creators there and rhyme was there.
Personally im a cyber dragons fan, it can be a pretty rough start occasionally but it feels so good to otk after the opponent just plays a face down monster turn 1
Typically I play a Dark magician deck. Changing it around to the different kinds of DM decks. But recently I decided I wanted to play something different. So I brought up my old 2010 reverse of arcadia ds game. And I decided to just have fun with it and removed the ban list in the game. Yeah. Let's just say that I'm using a Chaos deck with 3 painful choices, pots of greed and graceful, and a magical scientist with a couple of dark holes just in case any NPCs thought they had a chance. I'm thinking about making a zombie deck next.
I play Dark Magician of chaos, I love to see my opponent action when chaos sorcerer and my other Dark Magician support monsters are on the board lol they rage quick lol 😅
pure anime deck that i like is cyber dragon, blue eyes robotic successor which is ironic cus i've never been that interested in blue eyes, however usually the deck is consistent enough to were i can both make a tough board going first, and OTK going second. fusion summon chimera tech, pop back row, send 2 lights to the grave, break down the monsters, limiter removal, one, two, three. In terms of archetypes i run, gaia is so fun right now, cus its combo's take very little to pull off. Summon magical knight, use its effect to summon ether, the cursed dragon, or dragon fire, fusion using dragon fires effect or the spiral fusion spell you add to the hand with cursed dragons effect, and then you can, if you made your deck like mine, fusion summoned again with classic poly, or dragons mirror, banishing your fusion material, or summon bls, envoy of the beginning, punch, punch, punch, use solider gaia effect to summon to the field, ko, or, if summoned through spiral fusion, just punch twice with your fusion and bls, as spiral fusion increases all gaia fusions attack to 5200 and theres more if you make it like i did.
Have you ever thought of doing a malefic deck for a video? Deals with mostly dragons and have some pretty good looking cards with fun effects. You should definitely check them out if you havnt.
You should've activated blue eyes jet's effect when you attacked bc you could have shuffled your own predaplant back in your extra deck or one of his back row and still destroy kill his big eye
My favorite “anime” deck is Dark Worlds nowadays, especially with Danger! Monsters. I’ve always been a Fiend guy (Bakura was one of my favorite duelists in OG yugioh along with Joey) and they’ve always had some pretty crazy plays imo.
My favorite anime deck is definitely cyber dragon still the most dope and funny to beat meta with but no lie salamangreat is creeping up to my favorite list really fast
My favorite deck is a custom deck I named "Dragon Buster" (those who played The Legend of Dragoon will get that reference). Is a Buster Blader and Blue Eyes deck, with King Dragun, Dark Paladin, and Blue Eyes Ultimate for my fusions
Yo Rhyme, big fan, as you guessed I main a rogue deck and was testing out Kashtira in Casual. Did not expect a Blue Eyes/Beastial combo but afterwards I told my buddy I got cooked against Blue Eyes 😭😭 Gg
Favourite anime deck is BLS. If built in a similar fashion to this. You can summon master of chaos turn 2 so consistently. And with a plethora of light and darks to work with you get its effect super easily.
rhyme change your activation confirmation to hold 1 because if you do all you have to do is hold down your mouse to toggle of and on as long as you hold it down it makes things easier
If you manage not to brick then yes. Also i was curious how was it decided who had what deck? Just randomly or no? Branded bystial blue eyes was a rly cool idea too my toxic brain thought of mixing two archetypes and they were kash and tear lmao.
The updated Jack Atlas Deck is actually so cracked. I can't call it an anime deck since I added bystials but man. The master of faster can handle even the most meta decks with a decent hand.
Its hard to win because all the newer decks just keep getting more OP. Especially Kashtira. Hey how do you have so many Royal ultra rares? Do you use your dust to craft them?
Nah because I beat a Blue-Eyes deck with the Salamangreat structure deck. It wasn’t a fully fledged out competitive Blue-Eyes deck but I was still surprised since the strongest monster is a 2300 link 3 monster
Easily cyberdragon as for the anime deck. When I got back into yugioh my first deck was a cyber dragon deck plus I didn’t realize how much support it got.
I’ve been maining Red Eyes ever since it’s gotten it’s first support. I’ve been recently playing beastial kash Red eyes mix and honestly it’s pretty fun.
Blue-eyes needs a better search engine and cards that reward for summoning Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Bingo Machine was such a poorly designed card that it forces you to play multiples of cards youd normally only play 1 of if any at all which brings me to my next point; Blue-Eyes needs better spells and monster support.
I just got back into the game, playing the new P.U.N.K. and Madolche cards, managed to shove them together for an actually decent deck. I only really get shut down by anything that banishes any card I send to the graveyard since Madolche is nothing but graveyard effects to mill and shuffle
Heroes in the anime were my favorite for a while till i watched vrains then salamangreats became my favorite anime and tcg deck, although i have made a old school silent magician deck and i love it too
My favourite anime gotta be heroes. First deck I used in master duel was heroes, and Yu-Gi-Oh GX was my first experience wit yugioh, so I missed blue eyes and dark magician. Right now I play dark magician, so uhh…
What if you try two vs two style tournament with the goated format and bring seereax and dotto with you? Actually who would you rather bring, seereax cubic ra deck, or dottos gambler deck in a 2v2 meta tournament?
For another age old rivalry in my opinion I like to play Red-Eyes every now and then but I don't have the deck built in Master Duel. Mostly in Duel Links (As much as the game has it's issues I still play it.) Joey by far is more entertaining to me when he is dueling. Also his development throughout the entire anime is incredible to me.
Red eyes has a bricky otk that still works. But joey cards don't have a lot of good support
@@hunterapena Yeah it does but as you said if you have the perfect starting hand you can pull it off.
@@Prisma-Hunter it's great to slam down as a troll when you win
Same bro
I just got to gold rank using Yugi/Six Samurai and Jaden/Elemental Hero decks. Duel Links is pretty fire!
W fellow galaxy eyes player
That is a neat one
As a former cyber dragon main im glad i watched the anime cuz galaxy-eyes is so cool
It's cousin cipher is cool as hell too
Agreed, I built a sub par galaxy eyes deck on master duel like two days ago. And yh it cooks with the right set up. I'm just looking to optimise it with drag + numeron dragon, maybe cyber dragon + galaxy soldier. Just make it more useable
As a Blue-Eyes player in Master Duel, it is my favorite. Galaxy Eyes is also very cool
My favorite anime deck is the Rokket/Borrel deck from Vrains. Revolver/Varis is such a badass character and using literal Gun Dragons is just dope af
Dragon Link, which is based on Varis’ deck, just won Worlds. Can’t get much better than that!
Bruh it’s so funny seeing people who run only meta decks comment on your opinions on this and on Twitter gives me a good chuckle keep it up
Glad to see you finally put together a blue eyes bystial deck! Was pretty entertaining. I just put together a blue eyes chaos deck which has been fun. Crazy that blue eyes works as a good engine for so many builds.
Rhyme is the type of person to say he hates the meta then then bring out a deck with 80% meta cards 😂
yeah it was literally a meta deck with some blue eyes cards lol
Branded kinda carries Blue Eyes and DM right now. It’s basically a Yugiboomer deck for people who want to win.
Red Eyes Black Dragon has an animation for a finishing move. You should try a deck focusing on that.
I love seeing you/Reax and/or Doto play Yu-Gi-Oh.... But everytime I said: *Let me give a try again and see what's new,* is so overwhelming with ever-changing meta and long complicated inner rules and how effects work that keeps me in Lala land XD
I forgot how creative your blue eyes deck can be. And it works, too. Blue eyes is definitely an underrated deck.
@Iliterallydonotcare hmmmmmm, yeah, fair point. They don't call it brick eyes for nothing, lmao
Favorite anime deck and favorite deck altogether that isn't overly toxic.
Yes this was totally a "Blue Eyes" video. 😀
thats masterduel 2023 if you dont have 50% generic dumb cards like bystial or interruptions you wont have a chance and that sucks for people like me who plays roids lol
@@silidon1570 ok
@@manueljaramillo2520 what did you mean by your first comment then
Heroes and Neos has always been my favorite deck. Play for Master Duel as well and can't wait for my heroes cards to show up.
My favorite anime deck was always Super Heavy Samurai. It was actually my first ever deck that i built.
As someone who thought total defense shogun was cool, respect to ya
Ancient Gear was the anime deck that made me fall in love with the game. I loved dunking on people with the structure deck in Duel Links. Of course she can. I have a tattoo of her. She protects me from the Shadow Realm.
My favorite deck is Ancient Gear Golems and boy is that deck hot buns but it’s so damn fun to me it needs more love though!
Dark Magician is probably my favorite anime deck to play, simply from watching people who haven't played against it try and get around Dragon Knight and Eternal Soul
Dragon knight is the whole reason I mixed the dm engine into my toon deck
It's busted as hell 😂
Dark magician is still my fave deck
I got two anime decks I love. Stardust and Blackwing. Sorry. I just love the 5D's era of Yu-Gi-Oh. Even built my own irl Blackwing deck and it kind of did work. But I would definitely need to tweak it since I've haven't played the game irl in over a decade.
Watching the event was awesome. It didnt seem like you filmed anything. Just seeing you in background was nice lol
What was the event?
Rhym just mentioned n the beginning of the video where he went to a yugioh event with other contenr creators. Rhym didnt film anything but i follow the creators there and rhyme was there.
Heroes will always hold a special place in my heart!!
Personally im a cyber dragons fan, it can be a pretty rough start occasionally but it feels so good to otk after the opponent just plays a face down monster turn 1
My favorite anime decks are HEROes and Cyber Dragons. Theres just something really satisfying with the fusion mechanic in yugioh.
Typically I play a Dark magician deck. Changing it around to the different kinds of DM decks. But recently I decided I wanted to play something different. Ahh yes the classic blue eyes deck where over 50% of it is meta cards that aren’t blue eyes just like how I remember
I play Dark Magician of chaos, I love to see my opponent action when chaos sorcerer and my other Dark Magician support monsters are on the board lol they rage quick lol 😅

Saddly I'm still waiting for my anime deck to be fulfilled in master dual known as the new gate guarding
I've always been partial to Red-Eyes. Joey is probably my favorite hero and he's the fun underdog. Dude got robbed against Marik.
You should've activated blue eyes jet's effect when you attacked bc you could have shuffled your own predaplant back in your extra deck or one of his back row and still destroy kill his big eye
I love playing Dark Magician or Elemental Hero’s, I love both OG YuGiOh and GX and it was what got me playing in the first place
Gotta say my fav anime deck is stardust dragon something about counting on my fingers to make sure i hit 11 stars makes the child in me happy
My favorite “anime” deck is Dark Worlds nowadays, especially with Danger! Monsters. I’ve always been a Fiend guy (Bakura was one of my favorite duelists in OG yugioh along with Joey) and they’ve always had some pretty crazy plays imo.
My favorite anime deck has always been Black Rose Dragon. Gravekeepers is a close second, and so is Trickstars
Nah that chaos ritual and two blue eyes turn two is massive
Dictator of D. is a broken blue eyes support. you need that card in a blue eyes deck!!!
I dont hear u saying who wont the tournament btw... Haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh a long time dont have time but love watching your videos man
I have three Dark Magician decks I fool around with, and an awesome non-effect monster deck I like to clown around with.
I'm a Dogmatika user, and what I just saw was disappointing, I never thought that a day like this would come
Heroes is my favorite Deck in general ❤
Hey rhyme awesome video just wondering where did you get the kaiba hoodie your wearing in the vid?
Cyber dragon and dark magician are my favorite anime decks tbh with crows blsck wings in second place
The whole destiny hero archetype was definitely my favorite anime deck growing up
watching that stream was so fun. glad you had a great time as well
I like playing Red Dragon Archfiend because then I can feel like Jack Atlas. Plus the demonic dragon concept is cool as hell.
My favorite anime deck is definitely cyber dragon still the most dope and funny to beat meta with but no lie salamangreat is creeping up to my favorite list really fast
I love when rhyme goes “WhY yOu lOoSiNg tO bLuE-EyEs” when we all know the true power of duelist b
Whether it does or not, Blue Eyes is just the GOAT of Yu-Gi-Oh
He really isn't. He isn't even the best of his own generation of cards or the og anime
When it comes to anime decks i liked and played marincess, DDD and maybe salad.
My favorite deck is a custom deck I named "Dragon Buster" (those who played The Legend of Dragoon will get that reference). Is a Buster Blader and Blue Eyes deck, with King Dragun, Dark Paladin, and Blue Eyes Ultimate for my fusions
The only time you want to see blue eyes in your hand is when you also have kibaman in hand in early duel links.
Damn Blue Eyes OP those Blue Eyes cards like Bystials,Branded, and Mirrorjade really carried this deck. 😏
Yo Rhyme, big fan, as you guessed I main a rogue deck and was testing out Kashtira in Casual. Did not expect a Blue Eyes/Beastial combo but afterwards I told my buddy I got cooked against Blue Eyes 😭😭

Facts brother.....I updated my anime decks.....to help me compete against meta decks.
Easily cyberdragon as for the anime deck. When I got back into yugioh my first deck was a cyber dragon deck plus I didn’t realize how much support it got.
I’m proud
Rhyme really talked like a true Yugioh Player
Rhymestyle, Seereax, and Sykkuno are my favorite yugioh CC. I hope to verse one of them one day.
Cyber dragon is iconic especially with cyberdark cards
I’ve been maining Red Eyes ever since it’s gotten it’s first support. I’ve been recently playing beastial kash Red eyes mix and honestly it’s pretty fun.
Always predaplant. Deck was actually pretty meta last year. The character, Yuri, who piloted it was a menace 🤣
Anybody else realize the first opponent was playing Dkayed’s Kash deck?😂
I would usually say Hero but I find Dark Magician way more fun in this format.
Plays a blue eyes deck without actually summoning a blue eyes
Blue-eyes needs a better search engine and cards that reward for summoning Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Bingo Machine was such a poorly designed card that it forces you to play multiples of cards youd normally only play 1 of if any at all which brings me to my next point; Blue-Eyes needs better spells and monster support.
If trains counts as an anime deck, then I like trains.
Frightfurs is underatted and under represented but has been my favorite deck since it came out
Favorite anime deck has to be Galaxy Eyes. I love bricks and Kaito.
Poor rhyme didn't get to be in the picture, so he photo shopped himself in😢
I just got back into the game, playing the new P.U.N.K. and Madolche cards, managed to shove them together for an actually decent deck. I only really get shut down by anything that banishes any card I send to the graveyard since Madolche is nothing but graveyard effects to mill and shuffle
Cyber Dragon is my favorite anime deck to play
Anything can win when your perfectly built deck decides to shit itself 8 games in a row.
Favorite anime deck? EASILY Abyss Actor
Heroes in the anime were my favorite for a while till i watched vrains then salamangreats became my favorite anime and tcg deck, although i have made a old school silent magician deck and i love it too
I'm a man of simple pleasures I love the cyber dragon anime deck
My favourite anime deck is a toss up between Paradox (Malefic), Quattro (Gimmick Puppet) or Declan (D/D/D).
Rokket might be my favorite anime deck. I can play then in dragon link and revolver from vrains had the most cool tech card like Red Reboot.
Trickstar/Marincess is my favorite anime decks.
Idk about other people, but the only decks I like to play are all luck, stardust dragon, blue eyes and dark magician
My favourite anime gotta be heroes. First deck I used in master duel was heroes, and Yu-Gi-Oh GX was my first experience wit yugioh, so I missed blue eyes and dark magician.
Right now I play dark magician, so uhh…
It's not an anime deck but metaphys is my jam...and blue-eyes
What if you try two vs two style tournament with the goated format and bring seereax and dotto with you? Actually who would you rather bring, seereax cubic ra deck, or dottos gambler deck in a 2v2 meta tournament?
I really like playing Gaia the Fierce Knight decks :3
My favorite anime deck is Synchrons, so I play Synchrons
