    Maam, Very good and nice explanation.
    The tuned circuit needs to be connected to a feedback circuit by a transistor.
    Another point, the message signal is some times positive and some times negative. The source and gate junction is forward biased and reverse biased.
    Can you tell me the type of variation of gm for forward biased and reverse biased situation ?
    Can you please give the full circuit ?
    Can I use transistor in stead of FET ?
