Maybe he was worried of game crash and he wanted to eliminate the weakest player to avoid 2v1 Btw, fake markets with power is not a good idea, power doesn't affect the upgrade part, only building speed. So you're getting money slower. Plus it's extra micro and anytime you forget to immediately upgrade is an additional loss (equivalent to buying idle hackers).
good points, I understand the downsides of fake markets, but I tend to spam them when I’m aiming for a quick eco boom while running low on cash, investing $2,500 for a single real black market feels tough and slow to achieve in those situations.
