Back in the day they had a stationary Slasher that skiders would bring trees to it that had a boom on it like a log truck. It would pick a bunch of trees at one time with the grapple and set it in the bunk that had a big back plate like the little back plate on this machine but, it had a big circular saw that would cut all the trees to one length at one time. This looks like a mobile version of that only smaller. Still nice to see thank you. Stay safe.
Very effective but adding another machine to the system to own and run when non of those trees couldn't have been felled and processed by a single machine, could see the point on a skyline site for processing at the landing. It is like something from history, simple but affective.

accurate and reliable. Bet it works every day ,almost trouble free. Like the hornet , and the old target heads
Why are they cutting these so short? Rc log truck hauling these out?
holy crap that's a good operator... similar head to a hornet..
Took the fun part away cutting the tree down simple measuring system i guess
