Very cool concept but I wonder if the water pools are too shallow/small for them. Interesting the one climbed up the water fall I wouldn’t have expected that either.
Don't be sad if the shrimp escape. I've had shrimp run off of open moss tanks for no apparent reason. They get it into their head and fall or crawl out and then... well unalive themselves by drying. It's a great project and it looks absolutely amazing! It mus have been so much work.

Thought the same, the pool seems a bit too small for them, I wonder if they cannot be digged deeper maybe ?
They seem to be flourishing. One is even carrying eggs now. They seem to enjoy the waterfall.
