You really need to get new writers. This is getting really bad. I've watched this show since episode 1. It needs some new and good writers. Miss all the people that have died or have been fired from the show. Writers knew what they were doing. And what is this " Asterisk crap all about?

I’m a 65 year old male and have been watching since 73( Summertime ) While in the Air Force, you would have guys missing lunch so we could see Y & R in the break room ( 77-81) At this time we had VHS tapes and beta tapes to record it, and always enjoyed it. Since I retired at 65 I’ve been watching it pretty much every day with my wife and I have to tell you the writing is the worst in the history of the soap. Unless somethings done, you will be losing a lot of viewers.
I hope this is the end of this story line be a it is stupid. I also hope it isn’t true that’s Heather is dead. I have never heard of anyone with Bi polar having someone from there last following them around telling them what to do. Conviently she could control when he is around and isn’t. That’s a bunch of bull. This story line seems to have changed but regardless. It was stupid from the beginning and had just gotten even worse. They really need to hire a better writer. Because the one they have had for the past year sucks. This is nothing like the soap opera it was when I started watching on day one. But it just seems to be crashing getting even worse as the days go by. The writers have done nothing to make this exciting. The writers should be fired for writing such a pathetic unrealistic storyline hat they changed right in the middle of it only to make the story even worse.
I will be so glad when they wrap this story line up, I am getting. Bored with this nonsense. Sharon needs help why did it take so long for anyone to notice that she was spinning out of control! I hope this Will lead her to. Get the help she so desperately needs

The show I'm watching Sharon pulled her, put her in the trunk, threw her over into a river they recovered her body and used finger prints to identify her.called Daniel and today's show they descover she didn't drown she died from a blunt blow to the head
I don't like the thing when the narrator or whoever he said we're on the edge of our seats. I'm sure as hell not on the edge of my seat I want this stupid storyline over with. It's such a ridiculous storyline
