A Thomas 0-6-2 - I knew I was missing something! We enjoyed watching such fab Dublo layouts. Nice to see all the period accessories on the layouts too. Thank you for compiling and uploading 👍🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
@@clivebennettHornbyDublo Yes, the clockwork loco's were very impressive, both in speed and how far they traveled. Interesting way of winding them up! 🤣
Someone did a 0-6-2 Thomas? Okay I just burst out laughing. Bloody brilliant. I'm working on a OO Thomas theme simple layout for my daughter's school, to be donated as a raffle prize to raise money. Lovely to see all these long trains running on these layouts. It was every boy's dream back in the 60s.
Great selection Clive, good to see the Mortimer Group large 3-Rail and the 2-Rail layouts. The Thomas repaint is one of several Thomas character repaints belonging to Peter Ingleton.
yes I thought the Mortimer one you filmed was was a good one to show off lots of different Dublo and Thomas made me smile! Thanks to Peter Ingleton for this one then!
Hi Steve. I have a layout with Wrenn 3-rail. Interesting to set up and make the wire connections, esp. the points and diamonds. Can be awkward when the fibre base gets distorted from damp or over enthusiastic curvature. Have you any spare offcuts for sale ?
Got a set with this box for Christmas approx 1955or 1956. Silver King loved it. Still have the engine and Tender which still works.
What a treat on Sunday morning. Thank you Clive.
you're welcome glad you enjoyed it
Fond memories, nice collection live thanks for sharing. Regards Tom

thanks and yes the Thomas really catches the eye! I think the vintage clockwork Dublo looks amazing and it is so quiet compared to the electric Dublo

Excellent. I did a double-take when I spotted my own layout in there!
that is the amazing thing about modern video software! Anyway thanks for your contribution I enjoyed compiling this!
What an amazing video, truly wonderful layouts, truly amazing. I shall be watching again, and again..... Well done chaps. 🙂👍
Thanks very much glad you enjoy watching the Dublo

Agree with that last post. These are wonderful layouts but I don't know why so many insist on running the trains at 140/150 mph or more, scalespeed!
Wheely great.
Does anyone else have Hornby Dublo running on a Wren 3-rail flexible track? I have made one from track I stored away in the late 60’s

very nice ...
3rail the best by far....
All the trains are going too fast for realism!
