The last game of rugby in New Zealand for the century, played at Eden Park. The previous year, 1998, the Wallabies achieved a 3 peat over the All Blacks.
Well at least we tried to beat NZ here I know I wasn’t talking about this game here obviously because we’ve not been able to beat them at Eden Park since 1984
And SA rugby was damaged by the Ban they served from international rugby and the political impact of the new South Africa on our sport, especially our rugby...Its only now where the world sees us as the greatest rugby nation again...As it always was pre 2000s. To be banned for the first 2 world cups, and to pass every team in history to win 4 has to make you the true greatest rugby nation. Springboks been through a lot in rugby history and was held back by the international rugby community and the politics of the country...Through that we have still overcome, We even missed a tear of rugby in 2022 and still won back to back world cups, a B&I lions series and now The freedom cup, mandela plate and rugby championship and beat the All Blacks 4 times in a row.
Great upload, never seen this game before.
Thanks for the visit

Good evening. Do you have please The Match All Blacks vs Springboks 2001 in Auckland? Thank you very much
Possibly, but haven't come across it yet.
28-0 was the start of future records against the Springboks......SA will never beat the All Blacks with a 50 plus score like they did
