The cup i would use it as a pen holder. I don't own one, i gifted one to a girl. I wouldn't travel wirh it for sure. But at home and work it coukd work fine. Get up from your desk poor some coffee and good to go.

I read from one of your subscribers that Dior stated that this problem is solved, and that it was just the first batch of this leather that had the problem. I don't know. I have this bag in medium and I asked Dior about it, they told me that it was very little chance this would happen to my bag......I bought mine in late december.
My best are my Prada crystal bags. I absolutely love mine and they get a ton of wear. I will wear these bags to Target…seriously! Worst bag was my Bottega Mini Jodie. The bag is cute and the color is gorgeous. There is no denying that Bottega crafts beautiful leather bags buttttt I can only hand carry it and that just doesn’t work for me. The zipper is a pain in the butt too. The actual size isn’t an issue cuz I like small bags but since it’s hand only I found I would reach for it but opt for something else. I’m trading it into Fashionphile for something else that better suits me and will actually be used.
Ugh, I'm so sorry you feel that way about your Dior Book Tote because she's so beautiful. Here's my advice on how to view her...if you were ever interested in the infamous Hermes Birkin bag 25, 30, 35, you should view the DBT in the same way...they are basically going to be carried the same way...the biggest difference being that the HB can be closed, but you're not going to do that....and if you'd like things not to fall out of the DBT, get an insert with the zip closure, because chances are you're going to put one in the HB, even though it closes. I bought the medium DBT with this in mind as sort of a test of whether I'd even carry a HB. I've worn my DBT for two months straight and will send it to Dior for cleaning and pull her out this summer again. I said all of this to say that, this style of tote may not be for you and it may be better to sell her instead of it just sitting on shelf. 🤷🏾♀️

I think perhaps not owning more than one CD tote bag is smart however I would use what you have, as something you’d probably want to use when going to a house day time party or get together I.e for coffee or tea at a friend’s house, a shower event during daytime, brunch. It would be useful to just throw some items in when you know you’d be among the company of ppl you know well. And throw a scarf on top. Having said that, one is sufficient and it possesses so many colors that I feel any outfit would go well. Just my opinion. And yes, beautiful bag!
Tote life is practical for teachers that carry copies and books and classroom supplies. And yeah 😂 having a tote is dealing with when it tips over😭. It's a fly fest----everything flies out.
Similar to me! I work flexible for my job so it means my work bag has to be able to fit the laptop + mouse in it. My previous work bag served me for 5yrs+ and it's showing some bad wear and tear. I have been looking for a new big bag but unfortunately all the brands now don't do big bags with closure on them! I really liked the designs of some totes but no closure really speaks disaster to me. I ended up purchasing the Soft Antigona in medium size, during a sale. Haven't been using it still as I'm working from home this month, but I do love it's look and texture

Great video Steph! Be careful with the book tote. I’ve seen a few videos where the glue oxidizes after 1-2 years and becomes brown on the edges…apparently Dior has a 2 year warranty, so you might want to keep your eye out on the glue

Funny how preferences & needs for bags differ. I bought a large Book Tote in dark blue in the D-Constallation pattern. I was not keen on spending so much money on a fabric bag and was doubting that I would wear it much. It actually turned out my most worn bag of 2022!! It rained a lot! So I was glad to have a not so sensitive but still stunningly beautiful alternative to my (leather) Hermes bags! And it holds a lot. It has been on a number of plane rides. But as Lufthansa likes to put me on the exit row, it always had to go in the overhead bin. I was always super scared Someone would put a dirty bag on top, so I would recommend avoiding bulkheads & exit rows in planes.
I love your Givenchy Antigona. My favorite purchase this year was my Neverfull. I know it’s common, but so practical. I will never buy Stella McCartney products. Years ago, I bought a vegan crinkle leather bag and within months, it started to flake and peel. It is sticky. I also had three Stella coin pouches that did the same thing. Their customer service was worthless. I love my YSL quilted pouch.
Very surprised that your Marc Jacobs totes didn't make the "Best" list! After watching your video I went and got the small size red jacquard and it is definitely one of my best purchases. I also got the Odeon bag I know you love and that's been one of my best this year as well, along with the oldie but goody Longchamp le Pliage. Looking to get a mini Alexa in 2023!
My best purchases of 2021 are the gold Bvlgari serpenti watch,hermes black leather mules,croc embossed bag from Italy,mulberry bayswater, antigona,ysl large envelope. The fail was a faure le page tote with the gold feet.beautiful but it's spreading out a bit from the feet area.which is annoying to me
I actually really like my saint Laurent coffee mug. However I don’t really use it for coffee for just as a glass. Also I don’t use the lid. I didn’t buy it though expecting it to be a good travel mug. It’d seem pretty annoying though because that lid is terrible.
I have the Stella McCartney crystal bag in silver (but it's the previous version, I got it on sale for a little under 500 Euros), it is stunning! I just wish it would be a little bit larger 😊! My best purchase was the Dior Book Tote in the medium size (I have the Toile de Jouy version in light pink), I used it so much! It holds some documents and a book without problems, exactly I needed 😊. I got a bag organiser for it, since I, too, wanted the option to have it closed (have you considered getting one for your Book Tote? It wouldn't change the "boxiness" of the bag, but the problem of things falling out of the bag would have been solved!).
I don’t have any Chanel bags and promised myself one this year - but honestly that LV is so so gorgeous I’m more tempted by that as my expensive purchase this year. Side note, I bought a Givenchy mini moon in the sales and it’s beautiful. The hardware is amazing!

My Loewe basket is wide open like the Dior book tote and I use the dust bag inside it with the draw string pulled tight and it works really well.
I got a givency antigona in baby pink and after one use I saw it got dirty near the zip ends. How do you spot clean zippers for luxury bags?
You can put an insert with a zipper that closes it on the book tote.

is SSENSE legit for buying bags. They have a good price on a bag I want but never ordered from them before...nor do I know of anyone who has.
They are but from what I remember they don’t have a good returns policy - like you can return items but you have to pay a high fee

My worst purchase of 2022 has been the Ophidia GG Medium Tote! The leathers is peeling on the straps and top trim after 6 months of wear.
