    There is something to be said of the value of Kreesha’s parents in her upbringing. I appreciate this perspective. As a man, I would consider myself traditional, but I have no issue marrying a woman that is the breadwinner. To me, it comes down to that communication. So important, and being able to put it all on the table in the courting process.

    Kreesha brought me here. Glad yall touched on financial literacy. A lack of it is the root of a lot of these issues. Especially with people of color.

    Such an important topic for relationships! Kreesha is so incredibly well spoken and poised. Absolutely loved her perspective...yours too lol. In all honesty, as tough as financial conversations can be, I think they are necessary. I want to have financial conversations some what early on for the simple fact that I want to know the type of potential financial situation I am getting myself into long term. As you both mentioned, finding out someones credit situation can give you a whole new perspective on a person lol. Finances and money aren't everything, but it is a huge component of what will either be the collapse of your relationship, or the foundation for which you and your partner can build your empire.

    the biggest money-related reasons couples get divorced include mismatched financial priorities, unexpected major expenses, and discovering a partner's secret spending. A lot of people lack financial literacy, they spend to maintain an image or impress strangers. Unless a couple is married though I don’t think that one partner should live off the other just because they are lazy, lack ambition or too selfish that they let their significant other carry the burden alone. Great topic!

    I’m not going to down myself to pick up somebody else. So it’s like OK as long as baes ego is stroked and I look like I live off of him we’re all good ,??because it’s all about him ???that’s not a we situation then

      Kahdia VLOGS it’s not ever something you HAVE TO DO! It more so a courtesy if you choose to be sensitive to his ego, But in no means an obligation. Kreesh a chose to do so and that was admirable. It didn’t work out unfortunately but her heart was in the right place so she can walk away with her head held high! But again, this video wasn’t about saying woman HAVE to do anything they don’t wanna do. Thanks for watching btw 😊

    I remember last week your homeboy talk about a guy being an asset to a women even if the money isn’t the same. Kreesha’s experience showed why a lot of time it’s not the case. I also saw that shaderoom post. I wished there were more men with a balance, less ego tied to money and not opportunist, and then complain about women not being with the regular guy. Y’all’s perspective on maybe wanting help a woman with her spending was nice and good. All I got from the shaderoom post protective a guys ego.

    Would love to see her return. Great intellectual and fun conversation. There are so many topics that can be touched like current dating methods, raising and teaching black children, having an inner circle, and etc.
    Her expressions make it even better 🤣

    Hi Seth! Back with more verbal support- 😉 Very controversial topic and can go in many directions. The reason why we converse and befriend/date the people we do is based on the mental and compatible energy that is between the two of you. Bottom line is to seek people that you are equally yoked with on all levels and you will thrive on a higher level whether it be finances, loyalty, love, respect, etc. Choose to be your authentic self, bring someone else along if the energy aligns and the universe will bless you. ❤️

    100% Agree with everything that was said and I’ve been on both sides, think it depends on the relationship and understanding with each other as it can get messy. The question I have.... what if you did that prior to a relationship when your dating? Could be if they we’re just going through a hard time but motivated for more in life. 🤔

      Dominique O of you connected enough to him to wanna stock your neck out to help him out, that would be up to you! Generally people are more inclined when they are investing into a future with someone they KNOW will be apart of it! Just be careful and make sure your selfless deeds are going to someone deserving of it!

    The rules in a relationship that are being discussed are dictated by society, which, more often than not, are rooted in religion (which is a made-man construct). At the end of the day, whatever works for the individuals involved is all that matters. And a woman being the breadwinner is not a big deal, whether you're married or not. Women not wanting to pay for things or take care of their man is traditional thinking, which is fine. But they can't be a 2020 independent woman with income and be traditional too. You either contribute to the household or quit your career/business(es) and be a housewife. You can't do both, unless your partner is ok with it.

      Anita Prasad interesting points!! Makes sense to me!! People are always so focused on the perception of others around them!!

  • @christinadg
    @christinadg 4 года назад

    Yeah i don’t why I lot of us, and other people of color that didn’t have money, want to show off and let everybody know when they’re rich. People from experience have learned that image is hard to keep up. When you’re not as flashy it’s less embarrassing, if your finances decreases.

  • @Kahdia

    How can she on one hand say society standards are screwed up but I will go out of my way to fulfill those societal standards by making my man look like he spends all the money and makes all the money and I’m broke like that makes no sense i’m off or if I got it my man got it but if I got it why have I not helped my man start his own business so that he can produce his own income why am I making it so that my man is completely dependent upon me

    • @teamkreesha
      @teamkreesha 4 года назад +8

      I am a woman so I can only hold myself accountable, true evolution comes from self accountability. Men definitely need to hold themselves accountable for their ego, we just didn’t have the time to touch on all perspectives. But your right, they exist on both sides. As for helping my man start his own business. I did that as well. My mom gave my ex husband a loan (that he still hasn’t paid back) to buy all his dj equipment, plus a car that would fit his DJ coffin. When he decided he wanted to be a DJ.

    Why do women always have to cater to men's egos. If he makes less and can't afford to pay the bills then he should own that and let it motivate him to do better. Women are always having to bend for men which is BS

    • @fureytalks323
      @fureytalks323  4 года назад

      Carolella Much women do not HAVE to do anything. However, when you are in a partnership, generally the opposite person naturally WANTS to eliminated as much stress from their mate as possible. Especially if it’s Something as simple making him feel worthy in front of groups of people. Again, not Something you have to do, but if my wife didn’t know how to cook, and I did, and her friends came over, it’d be no issue to say she made it and watch her enjoy the moment. At least until she learned how to do it herself. I don’t need credit from outside people, I just wanna do my part to make sure she’s happy. But everyone has their own way of thinking. Thank you for watching 😊

    Lol. This isn't accurate at all. I know the guy personally and she need to stop.. And it's funny how much better off he is without her. He is currently literally paying her... how does that happen if he wasn't already taking care of her.
