I had always hoped for Home Free to do a cover of any songs from video games, but for them to actually be the creators of a song FOR A GAME, I am lost for words! I wasn't in the loop when it comes to games, but when HF dropped this song on their channel, the thought of it being an actual opening/trailer song for a game never crossed my mind. As a HF fan, this is really a milestone for them! I don't care much about the games since I know I'll never get to play them, but daaaaaang, this has become one of my favorite HF song this year. Looking forward to see them perfom in GOTY 2023

They are making a Pirate game and you can't fight on land like in AC: Black Flag, even the original S&B was suppose to be more of a Pirate game than what Ubisoft is giving to people.
I hate how we only get to hear this ONCE during the whole game that I got to experience thusfar. It starts when you first set sail with a actual ship. After that I never heard it once again.

i mean, on paper, this game could've rivaled Sea of Thieves, and i wish it could. But unfortunately, i dont think it will. Not because the premise is bad, just that it went through development hell and didn't really know what it actually wanted to be.

Sea of Thieves had ship combat while being able to walk on the ship, digging and burying treasure, walking on islands, it has everything you want from a pirate game and some magic elements spliced in to add even more to the gameplay, so yeah Skull and Bones probably won't be able to rival it
@@Court8 That's what I'm saying, S&B COULD have rivaled SoT if it had those things you mentioned, but as it currently stands, S&B is dead in the water. But let me be honest, regular SoT treasure hunting gets boring fast, as it's always the same, look at a map, try to figure out which island it is (which is probably the most fun part about it), sail, and dig it up. And I'm not saying S&B would have done it better, I'm just saying that normal treasure hunts get repetitive quickly. Vaults are cool tho, there's at least a little bit more to it, if only a little. I think my biggest gripe with SoT is that you spend 80% of the time just sailing with the occasional kraken or ghost ship to stop you from walking away from your screen and waiting to arrive at your destination. S&B could have spiced things up with (and I'll just spitball here), AI ships to populate the seas (compared to SoT 5 Ship limit per server), bastion forts that would require both naval and land combat (as apposed to SoT's ghost forts, which only require land combat) The good thing I'll say about SoT is that it has immersive gameplay, actual digging instead of it being an unskippable animation, repairing your ship yourself, dropping anchor, raising sails, ect, ect. Though I think it's a double edged sword and would probably be in S&B's favor to just have these things done automatically, maybe. All in all, S&B could have been great, borrowing many aspects from Black Flag, while also having new mechanics that were not in BF, like trading tea, sugar, spices, ect (like you can in SoT)

I'm obviously a Home Fry, I can assure you I'll buy the game just for the song and an opportunity to get Adam Chance to sign it at a future show! I doubt I'm the only Home Fry that feels that way. I think this game should be a sea of thieves like. Explore islands to find treasures, land and sea battles. Set up camp somewhere with friends. Go fishing, survive kraken, sharks, mermaid fields etc. The game deserves more than just boat fight.
