Cheyenne Hughes auwww thank you! And wow you’ve got a while to plan, no rush! If I were you I will save up and start planning closer to 2023 because there would be a lot of changes between now and then and everything you see now, there would be something more advanced or better xxx
Thank you! Yeah we’re mainly just planning engagement party for now then will focus on the rest after however we have half our vendors booked in though anyway as their family friends who are amazing at what they do
Yes Yes Yes!!! Video of your wedding day from start to end!! What went wrong and how you handled it. I'm very interested in logistics! My wedding is on April 29th so literally down to a few days now and my biggest nightmare is logistics. So my venue doesn't have anywhere to get ready other than a tiny tiny broom closet sized bridal room. So the only thing I plan to do on site is put my dress on. For the rest, me and my girls are staying in a nearby hotel the night before and doing everything beauty related in the room that morning. So I'm having to manage my beauty venders and photogragher and times for them to show up and then I have to trust my family to set up the venue with all the stuff I made. This is the part i'm most afraid of because I'm a perfectionist and not being able to be there to help them set up is going to KILL me!! Gah! Sooo many nerves!!
Hi Callie, Is this your reception venue or your ceremony venue? You could coordinate a slot in the morning which your family makes sure your partner doesn't see you and you check the venue setup is going well ahead of time but I think this would add to your stress. You don't want to feel that way on your wedding day! So I would suggest you be super extremely clear with your family as to what you want everything to look like. Print it on several pieces of paper with pictures and instructions of exactly what you want. You can also delegate that one of your family members send you pictures updating you on the progress as it happens. That way, you'll have a sense of control still and you can say then and there if anything is out of place. But my biggest piece of advice is that, although we want everything to be perfect, sometime perfect is really difficult and things can turn out a little different on the day than you imagined. And that's okay :) Just enjoy your big day and don't sweat the little things. Hope this helps!
Callie Myers when it comes to the day of the wedding I always advice to get wedding coordinators so that you have peace of mind. I had two coordinators and because I planned my wedding I still found myself coordinating my day, although I didn’t mind, I would’ve preferred not to. I wouldn’t advice to see the venue the morning of your wedding as you say you’re a perfectionist, can you not set up the night before?
Afito DJOKOTO hi, it’s a personal choice tbh, do you want to and can you afford one? I personally like seeing Brides change into another outfit on the day. If you don’t change make sure your dress is practical to dance, move and stay in all day xxx
