Im dying to know what that style of clothing/accessories meyoco draws is called, the one where its transparent and looks like theres liquid inside (like the hats at 1:47 )
Hi, so reviewing products is fine because you're adding your own thoughts and it's under fair use but you shouldn't flip through an artist's book... because now instead of buying the book, people can just look at it here which robs the artist of their own content.
Meyoco posts a lot of these on her socials anyway. Don't speak for everyone. Some fans want tangible copies of artworks, even if they already saw them online, -as a coffee table book, or to use as posters etc. After watching this vid I still want to grab a copy for inspiration and as huge fan of hers. :)
It could also give the desire to buy it, even if i understand your view. But, don't worry a video would never replace the fact to have the book in physical version. It's different from having a fixed pictures. On video, it's boring because you always have to make it run to see the drawings you want, while when you have the real artbook, you just open the book to have it before you. Me i find this kind of videos useful, because it help to take the right decision^^
Cool as but super repetitive with all the stuff in glass. I'll buy it and copy everything tho. Only willing to buy the ebook for something that repetitive.
I think it’s a little unfair to say something like that. I mean I get it, sure, but it’s just a style of art. I think it’s really cool, the glass. One could say the same thing about drawing humans, or girls more than boys, or drawing food with faces or whatever. You shouldn’t lower the quality and amazingness of this art style. Just saying, I know you maybe didn’t mean to be offensive… but I thought I should say something.
