At first I was skeptical, but as they warmed up I could hear that unmistakable signature sound morphing together. A very cool find! - thanks for sharing
Chad was fired from Nirvana in May of 1990. Dave joined Nirvana in September of 1990. This session was recorded in January of 1991. Just based on the timeline alone, this has to be Dave on drums. Even ignoring all of that, and just based on the power and dynamics of the drumming performance itself, this is clearly Dave Grohl on drums. Chad never played fills like you hear on this demo.

Here it sounds more eastern.
They could have had a very good 4th album.
Opinion, Poison's Gone, &
You Know You're Right definitely had some potential
If they wanted to, this would've been rad on Nevermind, even though it's a bit out of place imo. It'd still make a good late album track tho
If i were to place this on Nevermind, I'd put it after Lounge Act.
Who disliked this? Billy Corgan?
Probably axl rose
why Billy Corgan?
They obviously stole this song from Billy Corgan😋
@@514demon No, they didn't
@@ncaibo9063 Exactly🙂
(the joke is a reference to Corgan accusing Nirvana of plagiarizing songs of artists)
Amazing Dave...
Absolutely great
As great as Dave is, I really think Chad did this song better. Perhaps if it was developed more it would have been better
Strongly agree
You’re both wrong. Dave was tighter, hit harder, and a bit more complex. Chad was sloppy, weak, and simplistic.
@@SonikJesusthis song didn’t need to be complex nor did it need dave’s heavy hitting. Chad did a great job.
damn i really wish we could hear the vocals on this
Yep sure is dave!
Thank you for sharing this! ❤
First studio with Dave
THIS IS FUCKING NUTS!!!!
que putas cancion es? una mezcla de dos temas
The very best is spank thru album version.
Is that Chad drumming?
I don't think so. Most likely Dave Grohl

Does it sound like Chad?
No, it's Dave. This was recorded in 1991 and Chad left in 1990
who's drumming?
that’s dave
