In the 90´s skating with 70 or 80mm wheels was common and everyone was used to it, but when skating started getting more and more tech, skaters started using smaller and smaller wheels.
But it was About 5/6 Ago that skaters started using bigger wheels on their aggressive skates to commute around town and calling their setups POWERBLADES.
Some of those skaters could never go back to smaller wheels an some others started modifying their skates to fit bigger wheels and still be able to grind with no problems.
So in this video you will see how to modify a USD VII BOOT and a KIZER LEVEL 4 FRAME to fit 72mm wheels instead of 60mm.

i put GC 64mm wheels in my Aeon 60s without any modification, and they work perfectly. So probably could stuck the UC 68mm ones in there with little mod. But if you ever want to put a 72mm wheel in Aeons, why not get the Aeon 72s instead 😀 ps. understand the frustation when you film a whole episode and find out that you did not. Great that you did it anyway, i would postpone it to forever. One more little thing, if you are so close to the table when recording, would it work if you put the mic somwhere on the table? As it hisses(don't know the word) when you bend down over the skates. Thank you

Or instead of damaging the shoe sole you could make spacers to lower down the frame. It's more work though, requires longer screws and possibly some other effort to make sure everything is tight and safely attached. This could even be an option for more than 72mm wheels. All four I mean - if there is enough space between first and second bolt/axel.
Fyi it's better to have the wheels fitted this way rather then add spacers and increase frame height.
i took some kizer level 2 and put 80mm in them. your awesome. i woulda put a picture but i wasn't sure how.
I have these exact skates and have been using them with slimlines which fit 72s stock. But I'm definitely doing this now, awesome!

Nice tips bro. I founded my first aggresive inlines bauer shifty from 1998 and tried to ride them but weels and barrings are in bad condition. I have some 73mm weels from my sons spiritblades and I also switched them. Now Im riding agine after 15 years :)

@@ethanmilton8606 I didn't do it but there are frames now that fit big wheels for ufs. The difference I've felt is that bigger wheels are more.. how to say it.. less bumpy on bumpy roads? And has some speed difference of course. But if you do what he does then it's fine as well, i bet it's just the same with buying big wheel frames but you have to err.. saw your soulplates..

Fernando H J. Hey man. Wheel on this skates and with this frames without doing anything to the boot I think 72 it's the biggest. But you can always go a bit into the boot and maybe fit 76s.. but then with this frame should be weird to grind.. cause the frame wall are not long enough underneath the bolts and would be sticky in royalle and torque tricks... but ITS POSSIBLE ;)
