Big fan of Dux. Ya'll got a LITTLE better about not interrupting people but you guys need to ask a little more sophisticated qeustions and really pick at this guys brain for us who didn't just start trading yesterday ..

Brett Rockower ya and Tim just goes on and on. Needs to chill, his adhd is getting in the way lol. Makes for really great entertainment, but I'm sure Dux had SOOO much to say.
Pretty sure tho he came on just to promote dvd he doesn't want to give away all the secrets right away haha

exactly they give you just enough to show you its real, but they all have given proven strategies in small random videos for free like buying the red to green move day 2 if opens red on a low float stock up 50%or more on day 1 that closed near its high on high relative volume. works very well too

I know this is out-there, but if you are fortunate enough to be interviewing a great trader, you might consider asking him about his trading plan, such as his money management rules, how he chooses what to trade, his top entry strategies, and his exit strategies.

Judging by many of the comments it seems like a lot of people are confused about what this podcast is, or maybe I'm confused. I understand SteadyTrade to be a light hearted conversation between Tim and Stephen Johnson and sometimes a guest. An experienced trader teamed with a newer, developing trader, always to be informational but not intended to be '20/20' or '60 Minutes'. I'm pretty sure Dux didn't come on here to explain in detail his strategies. That would take hours and that's what his upcoming DVD is for. He is giving a overview of his background and approach to the market in a conversation with his trading pals, Tim and Stephen. It's intended to entertain and inform. Let the guys be themselves. C'mon folks, when Tim messes with Stephen he's joking, pretty sure Stephen knows that. Good grief lighten up and enjoy the show. Keep it up guys, we like it.

Great interview. Steven could you please tell us how and where did you come up with $27k to start trading? FASFA full time student max loan no more than $12k

  • @BobRiddell

i love how he said when your account is too small like 3-5thousand you have to go basically all in but have an oh shit stop out dollar loss, but when your account does double in size or so you can play the winning percentage of the patterns risking only a small percent of your account. reason you cant risk percentage of account thats too small is say the winning percentage is only 50/50 and with a small account the commissions will get you and the fact that you probably are taking max losses but are not capitalizing fully on your wins.

Steven Dux still holds his cards close to his chest. Won't reveal much! I think that's part of his success.Must be a cultural thing. Good luck to the guy! Nice guy anyway very humble.

maybe you are misunderstanding. every trader is having a different strategy and not every strategy suits to every trader. It is your goal to find your way to trade. Steve Dux is amazing to share all his knowledge, he is showing you the door. But, you have to study hard and find your own best strategy that will work for you. Good luck.

As for as interviewing guest I believe Roland Wolfe was my favorite so far. Maybe because he answered more questions or you guys asked him more questions and he gave a little bit more advice I don't know but it was my favorite and I still go back and watch that one. Thanks again for everything you guys put into making sure we stay informed!

Such a great opportunity to learn many thing new things but wasted away. Interrupting guests way too often and asking the most basic questions. Tim you are good but understand your role. When you ask a question, you do NOT need to insert what your answer for the question you just asked the guest.
Guys better questions and letting guests finish with their answers is what makes any and every interview better.
Stop treating Johnson like shit dude, sometimes its fun and games but sometimes it starts to sounds like your really getting pissed.
Thank you for you doing these interviews tho, need a bit more work but this could be good.

how are you gonna have one of the best traders on a podcast and ask him such simple questions? like forreal. what are your thoughts on alcohol? 10 mins prolonging a mediocre joke about duxinater. i feel like johnson just asks these guys to validate his data tracking method all the time like he did w triforce trader as well cuz he's tryna sell his own. and tim just focuses on breaking things down for beginners who want to get into trading. not a bad podcast esp w the features but step it up a notch w the questions
