First things first: I love Tayga and this is a good tutorial. The followings are my personal experience. For me, Tayga wasn't the best as a newbie. (I've had a very similar approach.) Without the raised suspension upgrade and the mud tires it isn't too good. (It can be unlocked at level 13.) Sometimes I've got stuck and had to restart the mission with another truck. That 'another truck was the Azov 64131. It saved my life many times. I had the same experience IL 1700. I really like how it looks like. I bought it but without raised suspension and proper tire the Chevy had just overperformed it. Now, I've level 13, I've got my precious mud tire for Tayga and I've got raised suspension/mud tire for IL 1700 and these two car are my favorites. :-) For an absolute beginner, I would recommend to buy Azov (as far as I remember there is no level restriction for that) and I would recover the Hammer. Those two can do everything for a very long time even if they look boring. (Sorry Azov and Hammer fans.)

I don't see the Paystar mentioned very much. I did a couple of tasks, sold some trailers and bought the Paystar. It works wonders in Michigan with offroad tires. It can be a little top heavy though. Very good truck early game.
Absolutely - I had it and it was already huge leap! Now with all the experience I found how easy Tayga can be picked up as well :D Thanks for sharing this tip ;)
You will be good with that one if you have a fuel tank and do not drive in zones where the truck is not in flat terrain,it flips easily just like ANK,i used those trucks and Azov is still better.

Nice one, but with 10 minutes on top you can do it with the Asov. Just go the first way right up to the Watchtower, i takes you ~10 minutes to collect the 2 upgrades and the Scout 800. When you recover before you found the garage in the tutorial you are at the startpoint refilled and repaired. Now do exactly what you did and you have enough money after selling 2 Scouts and 2 Trucks to buy the Asov in russia, it's just a little bit easier with it then with the paystar. But yours is much faster.

For sure! P16 is a beast! The only problem would be - you need to tow a repair and fuel trailer instead - P16 has different type of 'attachments', but in terms of getting there - shouldn't be a problem ;)

Yes, another way to do it! :D For me personally - Azov is too slow :) Especially in Michigan where roads are not that bad compared to Taymyr for example.. :) But also great choice and tip!

Might be faster to leave lumber mill trailer and empty the trailer near steel and put steel on it?

But then use the azov to get the Tayga and use the tayga to get the Tuz 420
