  • The CampStove 2 is a warm, cosy fire, a phone/lantern/watch charger and a stove to cook your evening meal, all in one. Once you've added your sticks/pellets to the chamber and you've got a fire going, turn the CampStove on and the internal fan will begin to inject air into the chamber, improving combustion and creating a cleaner, more efficient burn (no smoke, basically!). A heat probe attached to the orange part of the stove captures waste heat and converts it into electricity via a thermoelectric generator. This powers a fan and sends electricity to the USB port, charging your phone, watch, headtorch or powerbank. Any excess power is stored in an internal battery so it's ready to use later.

Seem these things before. It's the type of really creative idea, thats interesting, but I always come back to simple and reliable

Say I wanted to charge the battery before I went camping, does it use usb c or micro USB charging?

There's a micro USB cable included in the box for pre-charging the battery

Yeah...its a fun little stove for the beach day party but serious hikers on long distance treks, need not apply.

Correct, we have plenty of backpacking/hiking stoves; this is not one of them. This is definitely more of a car camping/glamping item for those moving a little slower.

I hiked the entire Appalachian trail twice with this exact same stove , serious hikers carry gear with more than one use . Only idiot's carry a msr jet boil with that needs to have store bought cannisters of fuel to use it
