    Both polar regions are loosing ice.

    Because the northern hemisphere is where the majority of C02 gets dumped in the atmosphere and the most warming occurs. Not much of a paradox.

      Really? Why, because you said so? Almost 200 years of scientific understanding, backed up by solid empirical and observational data, as well as theoretical agreement with those data, prove the 'value' of your 'because-I-said-so (i.e. fascist)
      assertion --- which is, of course, near zero, except as an example of gullible and apathetic human nature.
