It makes sense to do the time jump. If not, then Simone and would have only been a sophomore going into the 3rd season. Moving faster works for how far along this series is.
I think the reason we get the vibes that Simone is single is because whoever she chooses they are no longer together. Because I do think she chose Damon based on her words in the trailer and where it left off in s2. And with the scene of Damon and Simone kissing at the end of the trailer it looks like a flashback to me.
I don’t think it was a flashback because when Simone and Damon first did it, she had a ponytail that had two braids attached to it, and Simone in that scene she had long brown hair down her back. And it’s not Thea because that Simone‘s bed that they are in.
I’m not really feeling Cam and Keisha. I wouldn’t mind Cam and Gabby but these shows with the partner swapping are something serious

Simone most likely picked Damon and if she didn’t they’ll end up together later they’ve been setting up for their relationship since the beginning the same way they did Spencer and Olivia
have no problem with them ending up together LATER in LIFE but hate them being rushed together... just like I hate them RUSHING SPELIVIA and making it the most ridiculous and hard relationship ever... like bruh if these are end games why have they gotten together well before THE END....

Nah, they were not really good together - personality clash-"it would have seemed forced. Thea's personality didn't seem like a good fit for Damon
@@michellehall8781 They were not forced at all to me. They were the best tv couple I've seen in a really long time. Granted Thea wasn't her best self at times, but Damon had the emotional intel to keep their relationship in a good place despite Thea being scared. They deserve a 2nd chance. But I respect your opinion.
25:52 the question whether the scene of Simone kissing Damon is old or new. Its funny because I had the same question 😅 and actually rewinded to the infamous clip after Damon dad died. It looks like the same shirt she was wearing. So idk lol. The coloring of the clip looks like a flashback
I agree with you about it not being realistic of the idea of Simone as a freshman swooping in and dominating. This reminds me of Love and Basketball with Monica as the rookie she was very conceited and thought she was top shi loll so she got humbled which led her to be a better player
Idk how I'm going to watch this season without Damon and Thea being a couple. They were the reason I tuned in to every episode. The writers missed the mark with the love triangle with Damon, Simone and Lando.

I do hope Thea and Damon can find love interests with other people. Hope JR and Gabby and Keisha and Cam all stay together. Not sure if they are going to continue to dangle a carrot over our heads re: Simone and Damon - people want to see them together to see where it can go since the beginning, but whho nows what they are going to do.

They really prop Simone up in every situation regarding Damon. THAT in my opinion seems forced because he has so many other meaningful relationships besides her.

I don't think Simone chose either one of them. I think she chose herself and chose tennis, she's dancing on bars and living her best college life. If that was Simone in bed with someone, it was probably someone new.

Nah, I didn't like them together. Idk if it's because it was new for Thea but I think how they came together, secrets on Thea's behalf coupled with her stressing over tennis ( need for control) and knowing that D was feinning for Simone tainted how I saw their interactions and unfortunately really felt disingenuous.
